Lauren Conrad, come on down! You're taking over for Lindsay Lohan at tonight's Vitaminenergy and Reebok bash. As I first told you on Tuesday, Lohan and her pal Steve Aoki were listed as codeejays and cohosts of the Old School Versus New School party at a private L.A. estate. But when Lohan checked herself into rehab, the search for her replacement went full throttle.
I'm told Conrad—otherwise known as L.C. from the MTV reality show The Hills—signed a deal just a few hours ago to replace the embattled 20-year-old Lohan.
While Lohan was apparently telling organizers on Sunday she was still planning on hitting the soiree, sources tell me she was officially dumped earlier today.
Hipsters can rejoice, however, because Biz Markie and Doug E. Fresh are still expected to attend and perform at the invite-only shindig.

ReplyDeleteWow, Lora you're really defensive of Lauren. Are you Kathy Conrad in disguise? LOL. Bridget doesn't have to go to one of her events, you can watch her during interviews on tv and know that she gets really nervous during them. She's not very outgoing, the hosting thing might be hard for her. I personally have never seen her do very well when it comes to being the center of attention especially if she doesn't have a sidekick with her. It's hilarious how defensive you are though. You'll have a tough time if you ever have children.

ReplyDeleteHey, the fact that Lauren was the next choice is impressive considering there's a long list of girls in Hollywood that would've jumped at the opportunity to fill in for Lindsay. Lindsay may not have all her shizz together, but the girl is an A-lister, and any event with her name tied to it is high profile for sure. So props to Lauren for getting this nod.
