I'll admit Lauren can't compete with Kristin in terms of looks, but not a lot of women can. Not to pick on Lauren, but even as fan of both girls, people like them in different ways. Most girls can relate to Lauren whereas Kristin is more of a fascinating figure (whether she is liked or disliked, the girl gets a lot of attention and interest).

If she didn't care about the spotlight, then why is she appearing at the most random events? She's not very selective about them either. Is it really necessary to film your lasik procedure? I don't know... to me, that's a very private matter and I can't think of any other reason why she did it other than to get some work and exposure. So i really don't think she's over the fame thing.
