Kristin Cavallari, best known for being on MTV’s Laguna Beach and in the tabloids was also on hand. Her PR people asked me to interview her, and being the nice guy that I am, I said yes. So, here’s Kristin telling me about her favorite shopping spot in Chicago:How often to you come to Chicago?
A lot. My mom live in Barrington. So, I was here three weeks ago, actually.
What were you doing?
Seeing my mom!
Do you go out, or anything?
Well, she lives in the suburbs, so no. I mean, I’ve gone out a few times in the city, but not really.
What do you like to do when you come to the city?
Shop on Madison Avenue!

ReplyDeleteThe interviewer is not bitter. I think he/she finds thinks it's funny her pr people asked him/her to interview Kristin. I love the girl but enough of this crap, spend your time going to auditions instead.

Lauren on the other hand a spokeperson for a make-up company, has her fashion line and will host a tv variety show next year.
Both of her movies are going to the theatre. "fingerprints" August 07 and "spring breakdown" March 08.

Here's the real deal with the movies.
ReplyDeleteFingerprints was made in 2006, and so far they can't find a distributor for it. The release date has been moved many time already and the lated is sometime January 2008. Not a definite though and at this rate it will most likely go straight to video.
Outlook: Not so good.
As for "Spring Breakdown", it will be released in 2008 as well. Most likely see the movie will hit theatres though it's not something that's going to showcase Kristin's "talent", since she only has a minor role in it. She's part of a group of college co-ed girls. Her character name isn't even credited on IMDb.
Outlook: Much better than Fingerprints, but nothing to brag about.
can't we save all the negativity for Speidi? Like or hate Kristin, the girl is just out there trying to make a living, like the rest of us.
ReplyDeleteher pr people's constant hyping of her film roles have been what i've found most annoying over these past two years. it staryed immediately after lb ended with her 'supposed' role in the al pacino film 88minutes. we all know how that turned out. then it was on to fingerprints. her pr people have been hyping her role in that film for almost two years now. Like the above poster suggested the prospects for that film looks dim. Oh and don't forget about the much talked about roles in Dallas and the remake of Dukes of Hazzards. Yeah, those didn't pan out either. When she got the bit role in spring breakdown her reps went into over drive promoting that in the mags, but almost a year after filming wrapped its still not out. I guess we will have to wait another year.
