it makes me sick to think that the money she and nick make from selling these "candid" photos is being used to buy their new furniture. we live in such a celebrity obssessed culture that we're driven by our desire to see unstaged photographs of people- even c and d-list reality stars. It makes me sick to think that I too participate in something I find so distateful however. It makes me sick that today the relatively famous make a living not by their talent and their work, but by simply getting their pictures. it makes me sick that we never stop to question why or how we got to be so fascinated with these people.
They look so happy together. They are such a cute couple. Kristin looks adorable, I love the third pic, she looks so cute and her teeth are perfect. she has a great smile

no, i don't care seeing Lauren doing mundane tasks. This goes for any celebrity, I rather see them at red carpet events, parties, premiers, etc. Places where papparazis ARE invited and the celebs are working want them there to be photographed. before, that used to be the only pics we would see of celebs, but now there's an influx of these uneccasary papparazi pics of celebs doing boring everyday tasks and worse thing about it is that they're taken during their private time. real celebs feel its invasive and it is, and seriously... i really don't care if someone is taking the trash, pushing a grocery cart, picking their nose... why do i need to see that? and it's even worse when you know they are set up. To me that just seems so greedy and desperate.

Don't support (buy) magazines that feed off of celebrity culture. Dont watch shows like Access Hollywood etc. Try to see what you as an individual can do about getting the law changed in terms of how far papparazzi can go as far as obtaining pictures and pursuing celebrities. Basically don't financially support an industry that gives you so much "pause" make sense?

The thing is, it's unrealistic for all of the papparazi shots to completely go away, but there are magazines (People, Entertainment Weekly) and shows (Entertainment Tonight) that do not go overboard and are still respectable and those are the ones that I do support. But there really should be an end to d-list celebrities who have actually nothing to brag about in their acting resumes who are taking full advantage of the situation and are profiting from it. In fact, they have made it a full time job to be in these mags on a regular basis. I find it ridiculous that some people are buying into these set up photos. Why are we supporting them? Supporting them is supporting the papparazi. So what am I doing about it you ask? Well, exactly what i'm doing now. I don't support those types of celebs and I post comments like these about them. SImply ignoring them isn't going to make it go away. You have to be vocal about it. Hopefully, it will shed some light on some poor misguided souls out there.

Lauren is going to be at the Mall in Robinson in Pittsburgh PA, this Saturday Aug 11. Its a back to school fashion show type thing. I found out about this by listening to Kiss FM.
