Despite calling Brody Jenner scum — in two languages, no less — on last week’s episode of The Hills, Lauren Conrad and her one-time reality TV show crush happily coexisted at the Spring 2008 launch party for Rowdy, designed by music producer Dallas Austin. Jenner insists, “Oh, we’re friends. We shot a bunch of episodes so that was just one that was in the past and it was dramatic, but we move on.
Conrad summarizes the making-up process: “Awkward phone call!” She explains, “He called me after the first episode, and he was like, ‘So I’m scum?’ And I was like, ‘I mean like at the time I was mad, sorry.”
Jenner brought along his girlfriend Cora Skinner, while the single Conrad roamed around the Lisa Kline Men boutique with childhood pal Jilly, who sometimes appears in the background on the show.
“I’m dating but not one specific person, as usual,” she said. “I’m never dating anyone! Every time I start hanging out with someone I kind of step back and like, ‘I don’t want to commit because just like the feeling of being in a relationship and being like I couldn’t date anyone else. [I'm] too young. Unless you find someone who’s really special and worth it.”

ReplyDeleteBrody is general is scum. But Lauren had no right to call him that for dating a girl after she left. Brody and Lauren were never exclusive! She needs to get that through her delusional head. He has every right to date around.
ReplyDeleteI don't think she really thinks he's scum - I think she was just blowing some steam. Yeah, she looks kind of delusional, but I've felt the same way at some point in my life. Of course the difference is I would never say it out loud while a camera was rolling because I prefer to not look like an idiot, but that's also a reason why I'd never be on reality tv.
ReplyDeleteI didn't think she looked like an idiot. More like a woman who got burned and decided to get it off her chest. Brody is a waste of time and energy IMO. Lauren should (and hopefully has) moved on.

ReplyDeleteThis is all fake, they are just acting. On the show, since he did make a big deal out of her leaving and came to kiss her goodbye... saying that he will wait for her to come back, so he deserve to be yelled at for being an idiot.
