"Lauren threw Audrina a bash at the house they share," says an insider. "She wanted to do something special for her because they had a rough year." But the next night, Audrina partied with her other good pal - and Lauren's nemesis - Heidi Montag!"
"Audrina's parents put together an invitation-only, casino-themed party for her at their Orange County home, and Audrina really wanted Heidi to be there, since the girls have become close again," says the insider. Audrina knew that Lauren was off hanging out with Lauren "Lo" Bosworth and Stephanie Pratt, "so she didn't invite them. She didn't want there to be any awkward run-ins."
But Lauren, 22, and Lo, 21, weren't fazed - they partied at KISS-FM's Wango Tango event the day of the bash. "They had a blast at the concert, enjoying the music, and Audrina was the furthest thing from their minds," another insider told the magazine.
Audrina has been flexing her celebrity muscle of late, brought on by her topless photo shoot that emerged on the eve of the first broadcast of "The Hills" this season (See a link to the pics here, the first link is safe). The story suggests that it might take similar photos by Heidi Montag just to keep up.

Doesn't surprise me. She has always seemed opportunistic from the start.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry but hanging out with Heidi just grosses me out.
ReplyDeleteAnd it has nothing to do with the Lauren- Heidi feud.
i call total bs - heidi wasn't invited - you know for damn sure the press would have been there if she had! speidi would have made sure of it!!
ReplyDeleteI'm confused. Audrina has said several times that she's friendly towards Heidi, but they are not friends. So I don't believe this.
ReplyDeleteI believe it. Someone on another board made an astute comment that "they're all jealous of each other in one way or another, this show is filled with paranoia it's so sick." Now that Audrina's trying to make a career for herself and get out of Lauren's shadow what better way to do that than align herself with Heidi who, for better or for worse, has succeded at generating attention and a name for herself in the press. If Audrina and Heidi were to become close friends again, that would mean more air-time for Audrina and it would make her ("storyline") more interesting. It's so sick that these girls are willing to do whatever it takes- nude photos, fake relationships, spread rumors- to be famous. It's sad and pathetic!
ReplyDelete^And though we know all this about them, young girls still admire them. That's the sad part. There's very little admirable in these girls. Yes, they are pretty and wear nice clothes, but most of them are shallow, selfish bitches. What I really admired about Lauren, in the beginning of the Hills, was that she seemed above all that. But the whole Heidi drama and Hills fakery has dragged her down to their level.
ReplyDeleteif Heidi went where are the photos? You know they have US Weekly on speed dial!
ReplyDelete^It was a private party supposedly.
ReplyDeleteSo a guest would have to offer up those photos. HEIDI! lol
Seriously though, it's the responsibility of the mothers of the girls watching The Hills to explain why these girls are not to be admired. Girls are impressionable and they tend to take a liking to most anyone famous on TV or in the movies.
Example: Paris Hilton.
Their is alot worst people on tv than the hills girls.
ReplyDeleteShe can invite whoever she wants to her birthday.
ReplyDeleteI truly doubt this story is true but i agree w/
ReplyDelete1:21 she can invite whoever she wants!
IF (big if) she wanted Heidi there that is totally her peragative..
8:09 am and 8:13 am- i couldn't have said it better myself. Keep it real!
ReplyDeleteTeam Audrina. It's HER party and HER guest list. Who knows if Heidi came but if she did so what? It's not like Lauren & Lo have been treating Audrina well!
ReplyDelete^then she shouldn't worry about Lauren and Lo at all! Let Audrina do what ever.Lauren got a good friend she don't need her.Lauren just want to be nice to her.
ReplyDeleteIf Lauren wanted to be nice to her why would she talk crap behind her back and be cool w/ Lo ripping on her? That's far from nice in my book.
ReplyDeletewhat did Lauren say about her that was so bad?!And Lauren can't tell Lo what to do or say.She is her own person. It is up to Audrina to do something about that. That if Lo did something bad to her.
ReplyDeletejust tell what Lauren said so bad about Audrina.I want word from word.
ReplyDelete^if that's the mentality, Audrina can't tell Heidi what to do or say either. She is her own person. It is up to Lauren to so something about that and not hold anything Heidi does against Audrina.
ReplyDeletei dunno, this doesn't seem so abnormal to me. 2 of your friends don't get along so you're forced to throw 2 separate parties. If anything, either Lauren or Heidi should feel bad that Audrina was put in a position to have to do that. They should both just suck it up for the one day (gasp) and let Audrina have a happy bday party.
ReplyDeleteLauren did do something about it.She told Heidi she want nothing to do with her.We wasn't talking about Heidi. We are talking about Audrina and Lo.You think Lauren should tell Lo what to do and say.Lauren can't do that.Lauren is not Lo mother.
ReplyDelete^yeah, but Lauren shouldn't stand by like a dumbass and be a spectator, should she? In my opinion, Lauren is worse than Lo for not opening her damn mouth and putting the bitch in check.
ReplyDeleteoh and P.S.- 12:24 AM hit it right on the nose; it's bad to do something unkind to someone, but it's worse if you stand back and watch something like that happen. Always.
ReplyDeleteoh and P.S.- 12:24 AM hit it right on the nose; it's bad to do something bad to someone or treat them poorly, but it's worse if you stand back and watch something like that happen. Always.
ReplyDeleteAudrina is the one standing there and not saying anything.
ReplyDeleteShe should speak up for herself.
That's her responsibility, not Lauren's.
yes audrina should say something but i think she in disbelief to some extent, i would be too if someone i called my bestfriend sat there and watched idly as i was continually picked on by best friends other friend. Lo is Lauren's friend so I think Audrina is hesitant about what to do. My guess is she doesn't want to offend Lauren yet she doesn't understand why Lauren would be OK w/ this type of behavior towards her. I would NEVER let one friend sit there and continually call out another friend. I would tell her to cut it out or that we all couldn't hang out together anymore- end of subject. The fact that Lauren hasn't done that speaks VOLUMES! I think out of respect for Lauren Audrina hasn't ripped Lo a new one but trust me Lo deserves it and I sure hope its coming soon!
ReplyDeleteheidi and audrina are one of a kind used lauren for fame now they are out for themselves.. money hungry whoresss!!
ReplyDeletethat's funny audrina didn't even know who lauren was when she was cast - if she owes her fame "(such that it is) to anyone it would be adam divello!
ReplyDeleteYes, Lauren should have said something.
ReplyDeleteI also thought Audrina should have showed Lauren some support at the club when Heidi was talking as loudly as possible to Justin about her. What a tool. Both Lauren and Audrina are at fault. What was that conversation that Audrina had with Lauren about not being friends with Heidi and then meeting her for lunch?
While it unnerves people that Lauren sits there and does nothing when Lo cuts into her, and rightfully so, Audrina needs to take some resposibility as well and not bs Lauren about her relationship with Heidi.
I don't think Audrina wants to be friends w/ Heidi - I think she just doesn't want to deal w/ the drama between Lauren & Heidi as it is not HER drama. I don't see any deception on Audrina's part - from what I saw it looked pretty much like Heidi showed up unannounced at Audrina's work. Otherwise they would have gone out to lunch. Ditto on coming to the apt - she gave Audrina a few minutes notice then just showed up. With editing it's hard to tell who has said what but Audrina has always come across as a straight shooter to me. She is one of the few who doesn't talk crap behing peoples back. Who knows what actually happened on "girls night out" Did Heidi show up where she knew Audrina would be or did they actually have plans? It looked to me liked Audriana showed up w/ Chiara cuz she wasn't all that interested but didn't want to hurt Heidi's feelings.
ReplyDeleteHow did you figure Lo has every right to cut into Audrina? If she doesan't like her she should just say so. End of story. I'm tired of the mean girls crap and I'm tired of the high school games Lo (and Lauren) play... they both need to grow up!
^You misunderstood. Lo has no right to cut into Audrina.
ReplyDeleteIt just says everyone is rightfully pissed that she is doing so and that Lauren isn't defending Audrina. Heidi invited Audrina out during an episode and Audrina accepted. She also had lunch with her and Lauren said it's weird how the two of them keep running into eachother. Duh Lauren! They made plans. It's not a coincidence.
Lo's a biotch for her behavior towards Audrina. Lauren's lame for not defending Audrina. Audrina's lame for not defending herself and for being two faced about seeing Heidi.
Who knows what don't see though.
They edit this show for the most drama they can get. The whole story is somewhere on the editing floor.
I guess it seems to me that the Heidi-Audrina friendship is for the show. I could see some producer asking Audrina to hang out with Heidi and Audrina agrees because "it’s not her drama." Producers could have even coaxed her into it. Anyway, I just say this because their scenes feel really inauthentic and Audrina always looks kind of uncomfortable around Heidi...I just think if the cameras weren’t rolling, they wouldn’t be hanging out. I guess the Lo-Audrina drama could be fake, too, but I get the sense that it’s real. I’ve always thought there was some tension between Lo and Audrina.
ReplyDeleteDoes this show get faker every season? I remember thinking Laguna Beach was pretty fake for a reality show because their conversations were kind of planned, but compared to now it seems so real. At least the drama seemed real - you could really see Lauren and Kristin did not like each other, the girl group feuds in season 2, the Jason drama. Even the first two seasons of the Hills seem so much more real than this season with the fake dates and obvious set-ups.
Lauren seems the most authentic to me, but it almost seems like she doesn’t get that all this stuff around her is fake. It’s kind of surreal - almost like the Truman Show or something.
^agree.
ReplyDelete9:00, I agree!!! This show is so fake, it's sad. All three girls are milking it for what it's worth, and they should -- while they can!
ReplyDeletedon't think Lauren is very good at defending her friends, that's probably why she doesn't have many! and Audrina should be able to be friends with heidi if she wants to(don't know who would) she should not dislike her just because Lauren does.
ReplyDelete^Lauren isn't very good at defending Audrina.
ReplyDeleteAs for friends, she apparently has many outside of the show.
I think Lauren definetely defends her friends - she just chose to defend Lo in this situation. Remember? She just flat out told Audrina she was wrong when she said Lo had something to do with them not being so close.
ReplyDeleteThat's not to say I agree with Lauren - I think she should have heard out both sides of the story. But I do think she defends her friends - she just picked Lo over Audrina and decided to defend Lo.
Lauren & Lo both have this i'm better than you attitude and i'm so over it. they need to grow the fcuk up! Audrina you can do much better in the friends dept! start looking for a new place to live gf!!
