Is Audrina the New Heidi?

Bowling managed to bring Hills costars Audrina Patridge, Lauren Conrad, Whitney Port and Lauren "Lo" Bosworth, together Thursday night—or at least under one roof for the grand opening of Strike Orange County in Tustin, Calif.

But while L.C. took the chance to tell E! News everything was fine between her and Audrina, Lo vaguely alluded to "something going on" at the house they all share.

Adding to the drama of the evening, Audrina claimed to not know that L.C., Lo and Whitney were there—and kept her distance even after finding out.

What's more, Audrina managed to turn the diva dial up a few notches when she initially refused to do any interviews and agreed to talk only after a call was placed with her "people" to ensure that the only topic open for discussion would be bowling.

How exciting.

All of which raises the questions: Is Audrina actually fighting with the other Hills girls? Is she really that much of a diva? Or is she simply being set up as the next "villain" as part of a carefully orchestrated plan on MTV's part to get people to tune in to the next season beginning in August?

We hate to admit it, but, real or fake, if all of this just means less facetime for Speidi, we're in.

  4. *cough*publicity stunt for the 4th season*cough* Audrina and Lauren are still friends. They've of course never been best friends

  5. I agree with gweneviere, all of a sudden Lauren and Audrina aren't friends just in time for the 4th season - they're still friends they're just taking orders from MTV to act mad at each other - since they can't milk a happy ending out of Lauren and Heidi they have to make Audrina and Lauren not friends anymore so at the end of the 4th season they can make them friends again. So there you go MTV's happy ending.

  10. I call bull. How could she not know that Lauren and the hills gang was there? It has been known for weeks that Laurne and the Hills people and old Laguna friends would be there for the Grand Opening.

  11. I'm kind of leaning toward publicity stunt as well now. And if this is the case, I'm sorry but that's just lame. I know that money is good and fame can help them reach their goals, but these girls need to learn the meaning of the phrase "keeping your dignity". They've completely whored themselves out to be reality tv stars with their fake storylines. They're no different than Speidi in this regard - strategizing their break-ups and what-not.

Its not that I'm surprised that much of this show is fake. I'm just surprised at how far they're willing to go. I hope this is the last season of the Hills - not that I don't enjoy it, but I think its sad to see these people spend good years of their life wrapped up in drama that isn't even real.
