Doug is an ass. Stephanie is a stupid slut. Spencer is a jerk to Heidi's sister. I'm liking Brody a little bit better. I'm tired of hearing about the Audrina-Lauren-Lo fighting. I'm glad they all made up.

Looks like a great season. Did Doug go on a date with Stephanie just to set her up? Because that's what their conversation afterward implies. So glad Lauren and Audrina made up. Love them. Haven't seen many pictures of Lauren and Steph together lately. Is that friendship kaput?
I believe they said this season has 19 episodes. Not sure if they are splitting it up or not. And Doug is the brother of Casey, from Laguna Beach Season 2.

Either Lauren has really sh*tty taste in friends (Lo is a passive aggressive bitch, Jen Bunney is a retard, Stephanie seems shady, and well, she's not very close to Whiney or Audrina who actually seems nice) or she's an equally sh*tty person who's just very good at concealing it.

I can't take any of this stuff seriously and I'm always surprised when people do. All this Stephanie stuff - that can't be for real. It was fake to begin with and its fake now. They really need to start coming up with some new storylines other than someone "betrays" Lauren and must then beg for forgiveness. Honestly, its not good for her image.
It's good for entertainment but this show is not Reality TV. Lauren and the others can keep saying is reality but they edit it, as much as they like but to me is just another show like the o.c., gossip girl...
everyone can keep saying its fake but its not. they edit every reality show so its not boring. do u think if they showed them at work or doing something boring that it would be watched.
The editing isn't what makes this show so fake - its the fact that these people have fake storylines. They pretend to have jobs and then we find out they're only there to film specific scenes. Or like when production asked that salmon guy to ask Lauren out. And there is just no way that the friendship with Lauren and Stephanie was not set up...it just completely defies logic.
Normal reality shows may get away with doing this stuff sometimes, but this show is absolutely nothing without all its staging and meddling production. And I still watch it, but I'm with 1:55 - it's really pretty similar to the OC, Gossip Girl, etc. Although really, I think its its own genre - its kind of a hybrid of scripted and reality.
I hope no one actually believes this show is even close to reality. The things that happen to them are all totally staged and set up by mtv.
The only thing real about this show is the fact that they are not working off an actual script. The words that come out of their mouths are all their own (though that's not saying much as the show mainly consists of blank stares and gaping, bug-eyed expressions. And at the same time, I'm sure they try to think hours/days in advance of something witty to say to a situation). However, 3:34 said it perfectly, the storylines are all fake.
It would stupid to think this show is actually a reality show. It is at best a half-scripted and half improv show or a totally scripted show at worst but it is NOT reality for anyone of them anymore.
wow looks like alot of editing.. there is no possible way people have that much drama in there lifes! but i will still be watching! i wouldnt be shocked if heidi turned on her own sister because of spencer!!
