Yeah, I don't get the weird LA fashion sense when it comes to weather appropriate gear. I understand the weather can change within a few miles there, but that doesn't explain wearing a huge scarf over a little sundress or tanktops with boots.
I'm actually not a fan of Lauren's make-up here. She looks too orange and heavily made-up IMO. Or maybe its the hair color. She looks very orange county and not in a good way...more like those bims on real housewives. Otherwise I think she looks cute and I like the dress.
Lauren looks cute. Her dress is McQ available at shopbop but very expensive. I doubt anyone on this site can afford to pay 450 for a dress. Her sandals are dolce vita. Lo has no sense of style, she dresses like she is in high school or tries hard to imitate LC. I do love her linea pella bag here.
I understand the scarf and tank dress. I live in LA and sometimes instead of wearing a jacket or sweater, a simple scarf does the trick. It may be sunny, but it can get windy and that's when it gets cold!
Are you for real?? I am sure others agree when I say that we often look at the outfits of the The Hills girls and want to buy certain pieces for ourselves. I frequently shop at shopbop, along with I am sure many other visitors of this site, and will gladly pay $450 for a dress if I like it enough!

ReplyDeleteTo be honest, I typically like the way Lo dresses more than the way Lauren dresses.
ReplyDeleteLo always looks so comfortable and casual yet with a touch of style.
Though I do love some of the things Lauren wears, she usually looks kind of uncomforable to me or like she's trying too hard.
