Audrina Moves Out and On with Her Life

It seemed like Audrina Patridge was just patching things up with her roomies, and now she’s moving out. Last week Patridge finally said goodbye to living with her Hills roommates, Lauren Conrad and Lauren Bosworth.

So what drove her out of the house? “I just wanted my own place,” she tells Maxim magazine. “If anything, I feel like it will help out all our friendships.”

It’s no secret that Patridge, 23, and Bosworth, 21, don’t exactly get along—so was Lo to blame for the move? “The only reason Lo and I are friends is because of Lauren,” she tells the magazine. “They grew up together and hang out all the time; they’re like the Bobbsey Twins.”

As for LC and her other former roommate/BFF Heidi Montag, Patridge says the hatred between the two is the real deal. “They really don’t like each other, but I’m friends with both of them,” she said. “When we hang out, I don’t talk about the other. I’m like Switzerland.”

Montag, 22, is one person who has lived in Patridge’s shoes. “It’s time in Audrina’s life to move out,” Montag told PEOPLE during her birthday celebration Saturday night at Christian Audigier Nightclub in Las Vegas. “I’m very excited for her and I think she’ll do great.”

And if Patridge ever needs advice on how to cope post-Conrad, she can always call Montag. “I love Audrina,” Montag said. “We were friends before her and Lauren were friends. We still talk.”

  2. hello the hills is an EDITED show, she was giving the producers what they wanted. same as lauren did by endlessly discussing ditching doug before she actually did it.

  3. 10:08 were we watching the same episode? Audrina was talking about STEPHANIE and her being an idiot about the whole doug asking her out thing

  4. ^I agree. That was more about Stephanie than Lauren.

  5. She still was talking about Lauren to someone she don't like and that's not right.

if your definition of whore is someone who sleeps with someone then i guess lauren and every other girl qualifies as one too? And what about yourself? Do you sleep with your boyfriend? how many partners have you had? should we call you a whore if your not a virgin?

  10. I can't believe how smug Audrina is acting, without Lauren there wouldn't have been a show and without that show we wouldn't have gotten to see ceiling eyes date dirty boys. AND for Audrina to say that she's Switzerland, which she got from the Twilight books by the way which are on her current reading list, is such crap. If I remember correctly, she added so much fuel to the Lauren vs. Heidi issue... saying that "Spencer did this..." and "Spencer is the ultimate cheese." She HELPED in driving the wedge between Heidi and Lauren just as much as Spencer did and now after alll that she's "friends with both of them"? Whatever, I'm honestly sick of her anyway. She can entertain her dirty boys at her pad and the "Bobbsey Twins" can go on with their lives.

  11. I just think it's pathetic how everytime Audrina and Heidi see each other, it's always the same conversation - Oh, we used to be best friends, we knew each other first, we always had so much fun together. Blah blah soooo annoying!

First off, The phrase I am switzerland did not originate w/ the Twilight books LOL It has been around for ages!! People use it when they are neutral and don't want to take sides as Switzerland was a neutral country during both world wars.

And speaking of wars, Audrina didn't drive a wedge between anyone. Heidi managed that all on her own by bailing every time she and Lauren had plans. Despite that, I think Lauren would have forgiven Heidi for pretty much anything until the gruesome twosome reached into the bottom of the barrel and spread the those sex tape rumours.

I like Audrina, I think she keeps things real and honest. And as for "dirty" boys. I like Justin. I don't see him as being anything but himself. Quite the welcome change from the pretty boy liars aka Jason, Stephen and Brody...

  14. Ha! When I read 6:44 comment, I was totally thinking "thank god for Audrina and her dirty boys" aka Justin Bobby. I'm sorry, but he's totally been my eye candy on this show. I'd prefer him anyday over prissy gossipy Brody, bloated Jason, and boring famewhore Doug. YMMV and all of that, but I find the dirty rocker thing kind of hot (plus he's he's physically good looking, too).

  17. Audrina is gross, a liar and fake and a terrible friend. She sure did a lot of talking about lauren to heidi to me. Whether it was about stephanie it also involved lauren so it was lauren's business too.

Audrina talking about STEPHANIE to Heidi?
You have to know the producers planned that all out. I love the Hills and everything but lets face facts it has become a fairly scripted show with all the retakes and asking the cast to talk about certain things with certain people.

And as Audrina being a lousy friend, i couldn't disagree more. Audrina has stuck by Lauren through everything and never once judged her for any of her mistakes (Jason, Brody etc)! The same cannot be said for Lauren who i continually sitting in judgement of everyone!
