The first grey dress with poofy collar = that reminds me of what Whitney wore to her job interview at Teen Vogue in New York in season 2/3. Does anyone else think that?
In the interview her poofy collar was white though and she was wearing it under a grey tank top. But from the front it looked like an all in one piece and I actually liked the look - it was sort of fashiony trendy but yet smart (although i wouldnt have personally worn it to an interview but Whitney looks like a goddess so can get away with wearing strange things sometimes - only sometimes mind u!).
I dont really like the stuff here that much though.
- Sequin dress is ok = but nothing special. I could see a celeb wearing it though e.g. for promo party for a product (not red carpet obv).
- Grey dress = awful fabric. dont like the zip at the back. Im not sure the poofy thing works here at all. Shame really.
these are so Whitney. I love that girl but her fashion sense is slightly off. The first dress is super cute from the front but that exposed zipper ruins the look completely and the second dress is just fug. And what's with the insane prices?
I like Whitney and even like her fashion sense, but yeah, these kind of suck. Maybe its just the pictures, but they look a little cheap IMO...at least for the price.
Maybe this is all just a conspiracy to make Lauren's line look so much better. :)
the dresses are ok. I actually find the zipper thing to be pretty original. But holy cow they are waaaaay overpriced. Someone should tell Whitney that she needs to reach couture status before she feels justified to price her clothes this high. I actually find it a little pretentious of her.
she copied philip lim with the exposed zipper. only when lim did it two seasons ago, it looked good. she copied E&J with that sequin dress. E&J had the same exact one when their line first came out.
What the hell is wrong with Whitney, they are so ugly.
ReplyDeleteI never liked Whitney's style to start with on the show....
ReplyDeleteWon't be wasting my money on any of these "creations!"

For those prices I'd much rather go to the outlet mall and get something from Dolce or something. That's ridiculous.
