It seems like there's some serious Audrina envy over at MTV.
Last week a The Hills insider told OK! that Audrina Patridge had kept the negotiations about her new show a secret from her MTV bosses.
And it sounds like the sudden revelation has ignited some fireworks!
Today the New York Post's Page Six said that the show's exec producer acted like a real "sore loser" when he ran into his star the day after she announced she was working with Survivor producer Mark Burnett.
When Adam DiVello saw her at a recent cast photo shoot for the MTV reality show he, "completely lost his cool and was anything but professional" with Audrina, a source told the paper.
And apparently, as soon as Patridge left the shoot, "DiVello went on a tirade, cursing her in front of other cast and crew."
It sounds like there's as much drama behind there scenes as there is on the show!

ReplyDeleteThe NY post article was written with Audrina team. It is all made up. If Divello wanted to make a spin off with Audrina, she would have been offered one. She would have stayed with MTV that already launch LC and Whit.
ReplyDeleteAudrina has a deal to develop a show with Burnett but they still need a network to air the show. If she had stayed with Divello, there would be no need to shop her new show to other networks.
LMAO more like he was celebrating. Audrina's camp needs to simmer down. she isn't an asset to the show so i doubt mtv producers would even give one sh*t about her leaving. once again her camp is trying to promote her and her upcoming venture (which isn't even cemented as being picked up).
ReplyDeleteThis story sounds fake. The Hills ratings dropped when the focus shifted to Audrina and Justin Bobby. She had to get an outside deal because MTV wasn't going to give her a spinoff. Nice try by her publicist though.
ReplyDeleteShe should have waited until her show was actually picked up by a network before announcing it. She will look dumb making this announcement of no network picks the show up.

ReplyDeletei can't wait for audrina's show and hello? mark burnett! of survivor fame! i don't think she could have possibly landed a better deal. Audrina got a great offer and good for her. I like her. She speaks her mind. she actually dates and she's not judgemental.
ReplyDeleteAnd i do think adam divello & co were totally blindsided. I think they were hoping to extend the hills for a possible six season but why on earth would Audrina want to hang on to a sinking ship?

^She may want to rethink her whole strategy since she likes the spotlight so damn much. The Hills already has fans. Plus, Speidi is by far more entertaining that she will ever be.
ReplyDeleteExcept that the Hills is losing fans...I have a hard time believing they'll actually do a 6th season. Who's left - Speidi, Lo, and Stephanie Pratt? I could see why this guy might be pissed.
ReplyDeleteAudrina was smart to take the opportunity for her own show and get out while she could. I'm not sure WHY she's getting her own show as she isn't too charismatic, but at the same time I have to say good for her. We'll see if it actually gets picked up.

i know i'm not sticking around to watch speidi and bitchy lo bosworth if theres a sixth season! besides I like Audrina. I think her new show will be totally different. Audrina is into the music scene and not all about having to wear the right outfit or be seen with the "it hollywood" guy. i think it will be a nice change from what the hills has become lately w/ fake a** brody and all of the manufactured storylines.
