Talan told MTV that he is currently working on an album. He can't say what label he is currently signed to because they are still working out the kinks but he said that it is a major label.
"I'm doing an album, which is very exciting," "Laguna Beach" heartthrob Talan Torriero told MTV News on the red carpet at Teen Vogue's Young Hollywood Issue.

"I'd like to work with Scott just because he's never done rock and I think it would be really interesting to see what he can do," he said. "Music is pushing boundaries, and I figure I'd better do my part. I'd like to get a rapper on a rock song or something crazy like that."
Talan has already recorded in the studio with Akon and he said that more collaborations are to come.
