Beach Boozers: According to one spy, these castmembers are "supposed go to events [to promote themselves], but if they even show up in time for the red carpet, they're too wasted to pose for pictures."
Beach Bum: This castmember has been in and out of rehab many times, which is also the reason he or she wasn't even around for the first season of the show.
Beach Baddie: This castmember got into a knock-down, drag-out fight with a castmember of the opposite sex, bashing his or her head against a wall.
(Hint: Beach Bum and Beach Baddie are the same person.)

alex m has seriously gotten soooo fat. what happened? i was watching an old episode when jason and cedric scared the girls (taylor, alex, morgan, casey, etc) when they had a poker night. she looked sooo much thinner and a lot prettier than now. the comparison of the alex then and now is crazy! completely diff. and she looks nasty now.
i'm thinking either Jason or Ced.. but Ced i think is a guest star

It Is Alex M, she is the rough scary drama girl of laguna, in 1 of the eps she threatned to bash Jess remember...n she like wasnt i the 1st one!!!its soo her besides going to rehab makes u put the weight on! look at any celeb that comes out! its soo her

It doesnt seem very Talan like, but he was hardly in the first season at all, making me think he was the one who went to rehab...
i think it has to be talan cause he was cast on season 1 but he wasnt shown that much.. it cant be jason or alex m. bcuz they werent even suppose to be there in the first place cuz they werent in the cast yet.

If you read the article it doesn't say that this person was cast in the first season and wasn't there, it just says this is why they weren't in the first season. I personally think its Jason. He always looks stoned and on the show he was always smoking cigarettes. Like he's vaunerable to addictions almost. Plus, it never says that during the fight a girl was hit. He could've gotten in the fight with the girl freaking out and hitting him which is why he could've hit his head on a wall instead of hitting a girl. I think if it were Alex M. she would've just hit the guy not the wall. I definatly think Alex M is a little nutty at times, but not rehab nutty. More like Paxil nutty.
What about it being Dieter? I think it could have been my friend that sent you that link. We were talking about it... Dieter has been a "character" but at the same time he has been awefully "on and off." She pointed out too that on the website for his charity he claims that he has had MANY tough struggles... possibly being suicidal.... and that he is writing a book about it.

It doesn't say they were supposed to be on the first season. It just says this is why they weren't around for the first season. I don't think its Talan because he was in the first season. This says the person wasn't even around which means it has to be a season 2 newcomer that we hadn't seen before. I'm going with Jason too.
10:49- Where did you read that Talan and Kim called off the engagement? I hadn't heard about that.
I agree that when you go rehab you gain weight like Alex M has. But if she was in rehab during the first season she would have already gained that weight for season two. She wouldn't have started the season thin and ended being chubby. She would have started season 2 with her rehab weight. Gaining weight at the end of season two doesn't fit with the timeline of being in rehab during the first season.
Personally I find it frustrating that we will never know. We need one of the really bad rag magazines to spill the beans. But Jason would fit the profile
i think that it`s jason the one theyre talking about he wasnt in the first season at all . im glad that him and lauren are together tho && i hope Lc && Kristin make up again

Thats why it can't be Talan. Because he was on the first season. You have to remember its someone that was in the second season but not in the first at all because they "weren't even around" for it. And you'd figure since Jason is such good friends with Stephen and Dieter that he should've been on the first season. I do however, think that Talan is part of the first one (Beach Boozers).

It must be Jason, he was not in the 1st season but from season 2 he has been freinds with the guys(dieter,stephen,talan) for years. Not only was he unable to attend the Cabo vacation, he never graduated from LB its not really shown but neither him or talan was in the graduation ceramonies. Now if he was in and out of rehab it makes sense. JASON JASON JASON
You guys need to read the WHOLE article...it's really good! I think the baddie is either Jason or Alex M...neither one was in Season 1. I seriously doubt it's Casey; she wouldn't fight a dude..too unlady like and sssooo unlike her, she might break a nail or something.

I just came across a random blog and this is what someone wrote: "A friend of mine told me that her sister's friends' older brother goes to the same college as Jason off of Laguna Beach and that he got kicked out of school and his fraternity because he had to go to rehab for "abusing" cocaine!!!" The entry was from Oct. 18, well before the article was posted. Definitely Jason.

• More on Jason - he has been in and out of rehab about 3 times in the past year. He is also bipolar and is on some major medication. His grandparents are the wealthy ones and his parents don't really work -just live off of the grandparents.
• Another tidbit - Jason used to hit (ie, abuse) Alex M. when they dated. Per Alex M., the reason you didn't see that in the show is b/c MTV was trying to sell a fantasy. That is also why you don't see Alex M. and Jason actually break up.
• LC is supposedly the meanest person of the bunch - they say she is the least approachable.
I wish just once they would all be open and honest and just tell us what is going on....we would all turn in for that, they should do an update show on MTV!
yea 10:06 i read that too on bricksandstones website it also said that kristin and brody are a publicity stunt and that she is really dating stephen. i dont believe any of that it just sounds kind of odd.
Its hard to believe what you read. I don't think its true though. Stephen had a call in radio interview on the morning show where I live and he said that he had been dating a girl from one of his acting classes but he wasn't giving her name because he wants to keep his personal life personal. But you never know. That was a few weeks ago and sometimes you don't know the timeframes of the things you hear.
