LC will be starring in her own show called, "The Hills"!!!! If you just watched the Season finale of Laguna Beach, you probably already know this. Read the article below to find out more."The Hills" will follow the continuing drama that always seems to swirl around Lauren Conrad - better known to fans as L.C., the vivacious young blonde who drew so much attention on "Laguna" -as she moves to Los Angeles, goes to college and works as an intern at Teen Vogue.
"The way I look at it is, 'The Hills' is to 'Laguna Beach' what 'Melrose Place' was to 'Beverly Hills, 90210,' " says Tony DiSanto, executive producer of both shows.
"This is the story of Lauren from 'Laguna Beach' bursting out of that bubble, moving to L.A. and trying to juggle school, a career and relationships -you're going to get a good mix of the three different avenues of her life and how she's trying to keep it all together," DiSanto says. "It's a nice change from 'Laguna' -you're sort of living this with her - it's a progression from 'Laguna Beach.' "
DiSanto says the show's producers approached Conrad about doing the show because she was so good on the original series.
"She wears her emotions on her face, she's so expressive and [she's] this dynamic, amazing kid who's doing a lot of great, cool stuff - and we thought this would be great TV."
The new show's crew will be made up of camera operators, editors and other staffers who have worked on dramas, much in the same manner that "Laguna" is produced.
Typically, reality shows are staffed by people who mostly have experience filming documentaries. One of the most noticeable differences in "Laguna" is its slick, network-TV appearance, as opposed to the videotaped, single-camera style of other reality shows like "The Real World" or "Survivor."
"Like 'Laguna' its going to shoot in a cinematic style," says DiSanto. "But you'll notice subtle differences that are more classic cinematic devices for storytelling."
Another "Laguna"-like show called "8th & Ocean" is also in production by the same team. But that show will center on the lives of wannabe fashion models trying to hit the big time in Miami's spiciest neighborhood - home to what has been called the "sexiest beach" in the U.S.
Since its debut last year, "Laguna" has become one of the most-watched shows on MTV, even surpassing "The Real World," the network's perennial ratings war-horse. "Laguna," which finishes its second season tonight at 10, follows the trials and tribulations of a group of teens who live and love in one of the ritziest neighborhoods in Orange County, Calif.
I can't wait for this show to air!!! From the looks of preview they showed after finale, this show will be pretty interesting...

I'm more excited about this than season 3. The people on this show seem way more interesting. I'm so happy for LC! This is great for her. I'm loving that she will be the focus of this show. Now I understand where Heidi all of a sudden came from in the last few episodes of LB. The show looks really interesting and it's one I will definitely be watching in the Spring.

fuck season THREE. laguna beach has been played out. i reluctantly watched season two, but it turned out pretty decent. season three is full of idiots. who are these people?! at least the transition from season one to two had almost all of the same cast.

Her show looks 10 times better than the upcoming season of Laguna Beach. I love LC's character, she is the only one who has had any interesting character development. I'm stoked about The Hills =)
