(NEW YORK) Lauren Conrad may have landed a dream job interning at Teen Vogue, but that success evidently did not translate overseas. Teen Vogue editors and producers for the MTV reality series, The Hills, are said to have approached Louis Vuitton—which recently began advertising with the magazine this year with the idea of having Conrad end the season having scored an internship at the French fashion house’s headquarters in Paris. According to sources, Louis Vuitton wasn’t so keen on the idea and politely declined. An MTV spokeswoman could not be reached for comment. Guess there is reality in television after all.

She doesn't have the education. She has horrendous interview skills. Did she really think showing up with MTV and Teen Vogue will get her any job she wants? When there are people who have worked harder and longer than her to get a kind of internship at LV who rightfully deserve it. The audasity of her and Teen Vogue to even TRY and FETCH that internship for her is why society is disgusting. Everything has been handed to this girl in her life. I am glad one door finally slammed in her face and said no to her no talent, "MTV bought my apartment and my internship and everything else I have," ass. Well it's not going to buy you qualifications Lauren. Good luck in the real world once you finally decide to retire from scripted "reality" TV and bring yourself back down to Earth

To 9:40 LC is more qualified for the industry she would like to work in, than Krisitn is in the industry she wants to work in LOL. At least LC is making a name for herself. She has already had 2 internships and she's only like 19 or 20... Most fashion students are lucky to even score ONE internship.

I heard that lauren has gotten a big head since the hills aired, and she thinks she's above everyone. she sees stephen sometimes but they don't speak. She is super fake and so boring. They are already calling Heidi the breakout star of the Hills. Hmmm!

The person I really like on the hills is whitney though heidi has been more likeable the last couple shows, I also like audrina, no offense I really like laguna and the hills but reality people are kind of laughing stalks in hollywood that is one reason I think kristen was smart to get out of reality shows.
There have definatly been signs lc thinks she is a big deal, smarting off to blaine in episode one comes to mind, attitude she give lisa love, fact no one laguna people other than jason seem to speak to her any longer, the louis thing, I think lauren is getting a reputation and not a good one, I will say this for kristen she seems to have a really good attitude and she seems to try hard which I think counts for a lot.

According to E! News, Kristin got those extensions for a movie part that required long hair.
Why is having extensions bad? Everyone who is famous has had them at one point or another.

Kristin did not get out of reality shows... her reality show (which I assume you remember, get this party started) was CANCELLED since there were not enough viewers. DOnt flip it around to "she got out of realilty"... reality got SICK of her and kicked her out! HA
And to your other comment... which you say that nobody from laguna talks to her any longer... are u dumb?? I certanly hope not, especially since you dont KNOW her. MTV wants to keep laguna stars separate from the Hills... Dieter and stephen live with jason, she sees them both regularly, just because they arent on the hills doesnt mean they dont hang out. So stop acting like you KNOW lauren... because you dont. She's not perfect, GET over it! Nobody is perfect, that doesnt mean you have to diss her. The LAGUNA girl whos friends refuse to talk to her anymore is... (drumroll) KRISTIN!! Hollywood has gone to her head!!
Actually, Dieter and Stephen don't live with Jason anymore. They haven't lived together since December. Jason lives with Lauren now. Dieter moved back to LB and he's going to San Diego State in the fall and he and Lauren don't speak at all because she ditched him. Lo doesn't talk to Lauren anymore, and neither does Stephen.
Kristin was the host of a show, like Regis and Kelly. She wasn't the subject of a show like Lauren or the Real World kids. It's totally different.
Yeah and Lauren said she hates Casey, Jessica and Alex M. Everyone in the whole world knows how she feels about Kristin because thats all she talks about in interviews so that's pretty much everyone! Lauren is a bitch!

well I don't even see how she got the internship at Teen Vogue. I mean did you see her interview, well part of it? I love Lauren to death and I'm proud of her but it just doesn't seem right. And Louis Vuitton is way above Teen Vogue so I can understand. Oh well....
