When asked about the new season of Laguna Beach during a red carpet strut on September 20, Laguna alumni Kristin Cavallari, 19, openly admittted that she'll take a pass on watching the new season. "I've watched the first few episodes, but I don't think I'll be watching it again!" she laughs. "It just seems like the new cast is trying too hard to be like us and they seem to be overly dramatic about every little thing, it's ridiculous. For us, the drama just came to us, but for them, it seems like they are the ones who go looking for it!" Although Cavallari doesn't socialize with ex-friend Jessica Smith anymore, she comments, "I think it's kind of sad that she's still hanging around Laguna with those high school boys." But did Cavallari ever associate with the new cast? "No way," she laughs. "I would have never been caught dead talking to freshmen!"

I like Kristin. I'm glad she said it. I agree with her to a point - the cast tries way too hard and Jessica is kind of pathetic. (I like Jessica too) However, I disagree with her about the whole freshman thing. I had friends that were freshmans when I was a senior. That was a snotty thing to say.
wtf?? i would never say kristin is pathetic for going out with one of lauren's ex's. that's just plain stupid. why would that be pathetic of her to do that?? jason never wanted kristin.. why is lauren desperate and pathetic for dating brody?? who really cares if its kristin's ex. would you say shes pathetic for dating one of Lo's ex's? probably not. it's the same thing. there probably wasnt even that much of a feud between kristin and lauren on laguna beach, they just made it look that way. so quit fucking saying that lauren is pathetic blah blah blah...it's not like once you date a guy nobody else can have him.
Well, I'm concerned then, too. I'm concerned when there are girls portrayed acting slutty and show its ok to act like that. And we need to let all little girls know that. :-)
oh yeah, and it was REALLY awesome when she got that hotel room with Stephen after prom.. that must be really good for all the little girls to see that too.
she wasn't just hooking up with him. he was her boyfriend, so technically they werent hooking up. hooking up is doing things when you dont have a boyfriend, which kristin did a lot.
I'm sure the next guy Kristin dates will have had a girlfriend before, therefore according to what you other Kristin fans are saying, she must just LOVE leftovers.
oh, and B-RED please tell me you're not stupid enough to stand on a bar in a skirt and a thong and dance when you know cameras are on you for a TV show. :-)
