13) Dieter Schmitz- ‘Laguna Beach’ (Season 1) Dieter was always very nice, and his girlfriend, Jessica, had monstrous boobs (monstrous!), but the reserved high school senior was guilty of an unforgivable crime. Nearly every time he appeared on screen, his moniker was “Stephen’s Wingman.” Have some pride, dude. Even if you are the Ron Weasley of the duo, never admit it. Just tell all of your friends that you’re secretly wielding power from the inside.
11) Heidi Montag- ‘The Hills’ (Season 1) Lo was so much of a better best friend to Lauren Conrad than this skank ever was or will be. She’s extraordinarily self-centered and boy crazy. It’s like she never graduated 10th grade. I hate her more than Son Of Sam. At least David Berkowitz received orders from a dog to destroy lives. What’s Heidi’s excuse?
3) Jason Wahler- ‘Laguna Beach’ (Season 2) Why did every girl at Laguna Beach High think it was a good idea to hook up with this tool box? I realize he played baseball and had a better-than-average beard for a high schooler, but awkward silence and obvious comments were his dating strategy. Girls just assumed he was evasive and hard to get to, but I bet, in reality, a potent combination of cocaine and Human Growth Hormone was blocking his brain from sending intelligent messages to his mouth. I’m feeling an entire Dr. Phil episode trying to fix this idiot coming.

i was thinking where is spencer on this list but even calling him a "pathetic, unwatchable reality star" is a complement because STAR and SPENCER should not be used in the same sentence under any circumstances!

of all teh reality shows out there...dieter...REALLY? sure he was generally boring and nothing all that special, but completely unwatchable? that's a reach. i think there are probably tons of other reality stars who could have made the list IMO

I don't think Heidi should be here either. I mean, even if you don't like her, you have to admit that she's extrememly entertaining.
I think that chick Jen who hooked up with Jenner should be on this list. Man was she annoying.
Yeah, Jason was a douche. I feel sorry for all the girls he dated. But then again, should you really feel sorry for someone for allowing herself to look like a fool.

where the hell is new york? i guess she is entertaining and funny to laugh at but up to a point when it is so ridiculous it's hard to watch and not think "is this girl for REAL???"

And I agree that Jessica and Lauren were both pathetic. It's understandable, I myself acted the same way in a similar past relationship. You hopefully learn from it and grow from it. But it doesn't change the fact that it was pathetic.
Jessica and Lauren should be ashamed of themselves for being with Jason. Have you all noticed though that the guys Kristin was with all seem to adore and love her? Guys just love Kristin.
Lauren got out of that relationship. It's really not a big deal anymore. Drop it.

face it, everyone gets dumped or rejected at some point in their life. everyone. kristin included.
I agree, however, that anyone who's had any sort of relationship with jason wahler should be pretty embarrassed about it. girlfriends, friends, relatives. parents, especially.
Matt and Kristin together was never really confirmed. And I never got the impression he blew her off. It seemed like it was one of those breezy things that went on for a half second.
For all that I've seen Kristin on LB, she has always seemed to have the upper hand in the relationship. She's never allowed herself to be disrespected by guys.
Kristin has a lot of flaws (we all do), but when it comes to guys, she has a strong sense of self-respect and I think it's admirable.
She would never allow herself to be cheated on, be made to look like a fool, and follow some guy hand and foot. She's definitely a strong woman, and that's what makes her even more attractive.

self-respect is important, and no one's saying you should let people treat you like a doormat. but the upper hand issue just isn't something that translates into a real adult relationship. chances are, when she finds a guy who's actually right for her, and who she's really into, she'll realize that she suddenly doesn't have the "upper hand" anymore. in a good relationship, neither of you do.
Anyways back to the actual post, I don't think Dieter should be on this list either. But, Heidi and Jason, yeah they should be on it. And about New York, she is on it she's number 4.
I agree that having the upper hand doesn't always equate a good relationship. My point was more the fact that Kristin, if anything, is the one who usually shapes the relationship (in order to show that she would never allow herself to be disrespected by guys).
Woah I'm sorry but if your boyfriend lies to you about hanging out with other girls and calls you a slut, and goes on tv saying that your arch rival makes a good "girlfriend" and you make a good "hookup" and cheats on you ... that isn't being disrespected???? I think Stephen was 100x more disrespectful to Kristin than Jason ever was to Lauren... Jason wasn't a great boyfriend but you could see that he really adored Lauren (hence the "i wanted to marry that girl" comment which is very rare to hear a guy say after a few weeks). Stephen always seemed like he wasn't sure who he wanted to go after (Lauren or Kristin). And since we have seen only one relationship that both girls have been in I don't think any of us are qualified to say that Kristin has the upper hand or that Lauren lets herself be disrespected by guys. And I highly doubt that a 20 year old girl has the "upper hand" in a relationship with an almost 30 year old... but unless you know either of them personally and know each of their ex boyfriends you really don't know anything about their relationships.
^We'll said. I thought Stephen was pretty disrespectful to both Kristin and Lauren, but more towards Kristin considering he was going out with her. Also, we've stopped following Kristin's life after LB, so we really don't know too much about her dating life after that. Therefore we can't make any assumptions that she has the "upper hand" to all her relationships. We simply don't know that. Lauren on the other hand, her life has been continously broadcasted. So naturally, we saw her go through the Jason drama. I'm willing to bet though that if Kristin was being filmed during her relationship with Brody, that it wouldn't have been all roses either. I read somewhere that they weren't all that faithful with each other. We also know what a douche Brody turned out to be. So chances are, there would have been some drama.
