ReplyDeleteShe doesn't have hair extensions. We saw her with short hair because her stylist pinned her hair up to make it look like a bog. Stars like Jessica Simpson and Eva Longoria do it all the time. She didn't actually cut it.

ReplyDeleteShe has extentions. There are pictures of her in cabo and her hair is short. I doubt she would have her stylist go to cabo with her and have her pin up her hair everyday. There was an article saying they pinned up her hair but I think they made a mistake. She definitely has extentions, you can tell.

ReplyDeleteYeah, I'd love to see the board where other guys talk about how hot she is. She actually looks very awkward in a lot of these pictures. Look at the last set and of her in the chair. Her smile looks so contrived and her poses don't look right. She should stick to just simple and not copy Kristin's hot bombeshell pics (remember those ones where Kristin was playing a guiter-now THOSE pics were hot, sexy, and beautiful). These pics are nothing compared to those.

Hey, Lauren was never a model or "wannabe actress" in the first place. Unlike Kristen, Lauren didn't choose to become a "celebrity" (or whatever you want to call it). I think this opportunity and The Hills just sorta fell on her lap, you know? WHICH is why she is so "awkward" with her poses. I mean, that's not her profession to begin with. I think you should give the girl SOME credit for even doing this shoot. I know some people HATE their pictures being taken. However, to have it publicly viewed and in front of people you don't know, of course it would be a little weird for her.

ReplyDeleteThere are two kinds -- Good Girl Hot and Bad Girl Hot. Just because someone doesn't take their clothes off doesn't mean they are not hot. Kristin (bad girl) is hot and so is Lauren (good girl). I'm a guy and I would love to bang both, lol. Every bad boy wants to bang a good girl, that's one of the sick fantasies we have.

ReplyDeleteBoth girls have CHOSEN to be public figures so people will have opinions of them, harsh as some of them may be, but it's all fair when you're a public figure.
Having said that, some of these pictures are just plain horrible.

She should stick to fresh, air-blowing-in-her-face type of shoots.
I agree...those pics of Kristin with that guiter and in that tub were just so beautiful. Kristin can pull these photos off...not sure about Lauren.

ReplyDeleteI think some of you guys are being a little ridiculous in expecting all of the poses to be perfect... if you look at a roll of film taken in a shoot with a professional model (which lauren definitely is not) there are always going to be some bad/awkward ones. what matters is whether you get the good shots, and it looks like they did.
ReplyDeleteYeah, you guys might be too hard on her. I mean it is too cutesy, but it doesn't seem like one of those high-end, big-time, real-name shoots. You can tell on Kristin's spreads that usually, hers are very well-done but it's cuz the magazines are major publications and they use famous photographers. And plus, she's very photogenic and easy to capture. The cameras seem to love Kristin, so you can't really be too hard on Lauren. Give the girl a break. She's at least trying.

ReplyDeleteI don't LOVE Lauren but I don't really see how anybody could think these look akward..I think this is the best I've seen her. I know that everybody always wants to compare her and Kristin (I do that all the time. I guess it's because I just love Kristin) but I don't think it's really necessary here. Lauren isn't thinking about Kristin and Kristin isn't thinking about Lauren. Lauren isn't trying to be like Kristin so we should all just get over it.

^I agree 11:17. Kristinrules you do seem to do the same thing. Before you say I'm a jealous Lauren fan or something know that that is not the case. I do like Lauren. But, I have also grown to like Kristin too. Not everybody likes to sit here and argue about who is better and who is jealous. This fight has been going on for too long and now it's just old. They are both beautiful women who are going somewhere in life whether some of us like to admit it or not.

ReplyDeleteHowever, there are people who bring Kristin down just for bringing her down. Whether it's making fun of her upcoming show, just being around town with her boyfriend, etc. And when people are spiteful like that, it's usually due to insecurity to make themselves feel better.

As for the hating, well, it definitely goes both ways.

I see what you're saying. I just don't see why people spend more time hating than praising. There are 76 comments on this Lauren post and a lot of it is people just saying how akward she is and how greasy she is but the last Kristin post only has 34 comments. I guess Lauren is doing something right to make people want to talk about her so much.

ReplyDeleteno, there's a big difference in why *you think* other people like or dislike them. you're projecting your perceptions of them onto everyone else, and assuming that you understand why other people have the opinions that they do.
some people may dislike kristin because of jealousy, but many of us simply dislike aspects of her personality... and, as you said, find it "troubling" that anyone would idolize her.
it comes down to this- if, as you claim, your dislike of lauren isn't caused by envy or insecurity, you cannot assume that's the reason any of us dislike kristin... because that would be biased and illogical.

Lauren is a classy chic bottom line. Sure, she has some flaws especially at her young age and being filmed constantly. I don't suppose you didn't have those same flaws when you were at that age or even today. Kristin has flaws too. I don't know if she was playing the b*tch character, but she wasn't the nicest or the most trustworthy person around. To each, his own. Both of them still has some growing up to do and everyone is allowed to make mistakes. But I think Lauren has come a long way and has proven that she's dignified and has a good head on her shoulders.

ReplyDeletePersonally, I have always been disturbed by Lauren's behavior with guys. I'm not jealous of her, I pity her cuz she (and all girls for that matter) deserve a guy who treats them well.
When other people tear down Kristin for being a cheater (she admitted this once when she was like a freshman/soph in high school), a slut (she's been with the same amount of guys as Lauren or other people), or other things, these are gross exagerrations.
These are NOT my projections towards other people. In fact, these are the exagerrated situations projected onto Kristin just so people can hate her. And, in my own opinion, a lot of it is to just bring her down cuz many people are jealous of her.
I don't have a problem with Kristin, but I don't think its kosher for her to be posing so provocatively in magazines. Its obvious sex sells in LA LA land, but there are plenty of other ways that you can build your image and your career and still get the media exposure. You can be sexy and not be trashy. It's sad because she's still basically a teenager. She should be confident enough in her acting abilities before she decides to expose some, actually lots, of skin.

LOL at the fact that some people think Lauren's behavior is awful but think Kristins is okay. LOL yeah that makes a LOT of sense. I think Kristin acts as if she has no morals... I don't like her personality and she just annoys me most of the time. That doesn't make me jealous. If I'm jealous of anyone, it's Lauren. But yet even though Kristin annoys me I don't respond to every one of her posts with something negative like people do on Lauren posts.

I love how Kristin fans assume right away that just because someone doesn't adore her that they're jealous or insecure. Please. I like Lauren because she's relatable, she's real. Sure, she makes mistakes, but who doesn't at that age? If you ask me, she's achieved so much already and she's only 21. We only wish we could do the same. Kristin on the other hand, is disposable. She's not extraordinary enough to stand out. No one takes her seriously. Image-wise she's just another sexy blonde so-called actress. (Tara Reid, anyone?) She's posed half-naked in practically all the Men's magazines out there. What can she gain from those anyway? She's a "sexy blonde babe", which is not at all negative, but that can only last a short time. She's already typecasted which is not a good thing. If she wants to last, she's going to need some versatility. Like, soon... because people are losing interest.

But if you have been reading the posts on this board, you can clearly see that the only reason Kristin was even brought up in the first place was because yet another one of her fans (May 3- 6:54PM) decided to do so. Which then ensued the Kristin talk. This just proves that Kristin fans simply CAN'T stop obsessing about Lauren. If you don't like her, then stay away from her boards.

Kristin fans don't call people jealous and insecure because they don't like kristin, it's the comments they make about her that makes it seem that way, like who would even say that stuff.
