-MTV has decided to order a fourth season of its hit "Laguna Beach"; it had previously considered not bringing it back. They are moving forward on a new season with an all-new cast. The series will be very much in the vein of the show's first season -- following a group of classmates in their final year (or, in some cases, two years) of high school. While the show won't be shot at Laguna High, it is currently in production at another unnamed Orange County school -- likely in Newport Beach -- and could be on the air later this year. Execs are still undecided whether to tweak the name to reflect the new locale or extend the franchise by keeping the "Laguna" title.

How many shows have they already made (and then cancelled) to replace Laguna. They should have just shot a fourth season in LB.
I liked Maui Fever. Wish they would continue that! But yea I definitely think they should have kept the same Laguna Beach cast. They were growing on me.
they should do a laguna series where they catch up with all the original castmates from season one. The season one cast was my favorite and nothing compares to it.
i don't think this newport idea is gonna work....
plus i cant wait till aug.13... i hope they show all the drama between lauren and heidi
Yeah I can't wait for S3 of the Hills, I miss LB season 1 and 2. It will be hard to top that!

If MTV is going to air staged material by speidi there are going to turn tons of fewers off. There are many more viewers who watches the hills for LC, whitney and Audrina as oppose the fakers known as speidi. I hope the shows focus mostly on LC and then give Audrina and Whitney more story lines and then speidi.
I'm excited for season 3 of the hills- it sounds like this is gonna be a juicy season with the LC/Heidi fallout, but one thing I keep wondering is why LC didn't try to get Heidi kicked off the show. I mean, when they did all of the promo stuff for the Hills at the end of season 2, only LC, Audrina, and Whitney would show up to events, so doesn't it seem awkward for her to be on the show at all, at this point? on top of that, how are they going to shoot the new opening for season 3, and the promo shots? Is there going to be a split screen with heidi on one side and everyone else on another side? I'm just saying, if I was LC, I would have found a way to have Heidi fired. After all, let's be real, we all know that if it wasn't for LC parlaying her Laguna fame into this spinoff, Heidi wouldn't have her new boobs and her new record contract. And spencer would still be brody's butt boy.
LC did not do that because she probably has too much class. Plus, I think MTV wants villain and Speidi are perfect for this role. As long as their scenes are limited. If not, the show will lose me as a viewer.

I'm with the poster above, i really hope they go back to concentrating on Lauren, Whitney and Audrina. I'm OK if they show Heidi, as long as it's in moderation and without Spencer!
First, I'm excited for Season 3! I'm so glad there will be more episodes. Second, I hope Season 4 of LB will be just as good as season 1 and 2! I hope the cast will be interesting and not like Season 3.
I'm excited, 10 episodes wasn't enough. I was really into Laguna Beach season 3, I was really hoping they would of gone through with the fourth season with the same cast, I think it needed more time for the new cast to grow on to the rest of the fans.
season 3 of LB was awful, i hope season 4 is more like season 1 & 2.

I'm excited for "The Hills". Glad that it will be on longer. My interest is piqued even more after seeing Lauren's video with Audrina and the two hot boys at Les Deux. I could care less about Spencer and Heidi together, but would like to see Heidi break up with him. And I'm kinda bummed that LB4 will be a different cast. I've become invested on the last cast. They grew on me, and was kinda hoping i'd see what they've been up to. Oh well.

I liked season 1 of laguna the best because it wasnt AS focused on rich teenagers as season 3 was...Everybody in season 1 drove a regular teenage car for the most part and it actually seemed real
You gotta wonder what kind of person gets easily entertained by Jenn. Great minds think alike I suppose...
heidi and spencer will be enough to deal with, i really could not stand jenn as well, atleast i hope she washes her greasy hair
Jenn is in the third season too? That sucks. I hate her almost as much as Lauren. I am looking forward to Speidi though.
Lauren is the only one with greasy hair, LMAO jenn and Heidi may not be likeable but are fan as hell to watch, unlike some others
jenn is one of the most vapid, annoying characters who's ever been on any season of LB or the hills. and given that her competition includes kyndra, that's saying a lot.

This girl Jenn has some major issues. I hope all her scenes stay on the editing room.
Jenn is in the third season? Awesome. I can't believe she got a 4.0 and she's in her third year as pre med, wow. I can't wait to see the scenes of her and Heidi, they were so fun on S2. I love those girls.
I'm guessing the producers are only putting jenn on the show to try and create conflict. I mean, they'd have kristin on in a heartbeat for the same reason.
