I miss the old cast too. It just clicked and they haven;t been able to get that kind of chemistry with the last two seasons.
We had our favorites that's for sure and whether you like Kristin or not she was a lot of fun with her friends and always on the go doing something interesting and the so called second bananas had chemistry with the rest of the cast. Whether it was the good the bad or the ugly it kept us interested and wondering what the LB gang would be up to next. YeaH, I miss it. LOL
I just loved Jessica and miss seeing her and hearing about her. She was really one of the prettiest in the cast but her personality was lower keyed. LOL poor misguided girl about Jason but that's young love for you.
I kind of lost a little respect when she dated the Junior in High school after she had graduated but that could have been orchestrated by MTV to keep some of the old cast until the new one clicked on on their own. She never seemed that wild about the guy.
Aw, Jessica and Alex’s outfits are pretty awful - especially Jessica’s. I agree that Jessica was one of the more naturally pretty girls on this show - she just had no style, poor thing. But it made her more endearing to me - she just reminded me of a typical high school girl who doesn’t know how to dress her body or cut her hair. The Newport Harbor girls were kind of similar - Allie’s bangs, Sasha’s roots, the tracksuits, and the prom dresses (IMO). It’s kind of refreshing to see real teenagers, especially with all the “mini-adults” that have been on Laguna Beach.
And I actually liked Jessica with Cameron - not that it worked, but it was nice to see her finally not take any bs. Maybe she needs a younger guy? Anyway, I don’t think it’s a big deal that he was still in high school - guys do it all the time. And Lauren and Jason were about a year apart, and I remember something about Jessica miraculously skipping a grade so her and Cameron were about a year, too. If she really liked him, I think it would be stupid to hold that against him - just my opinion. At least she didn’t go to a dance with him - that is where I would draw the line.
Ooh a reunion would be really cool. I'm actually going to hope for a 10 year reunion. It would be so much fun to see what everyone's up to then and who's married and has kids.
I guess though that would be like 7 years of waiting. Maybe they could do a five year one and make them stay together for a week or two like Las Vegas Real World.
I agree - Jessica was definetely annoying, but I still somehow liked her. I think maybe I didn't mind so much because it seemed to come from her insecurity. I think a lot of people could relate to being an insecure teenager, myself included. I just wanted to root for her and was glad when it seemed she got a lot more confidence by the end of season 3.
Oh, and her body was sick in season 2. I remember one scene where she was coming out of the ocean and I swear she looked like a freakin Bond girl. I think she had lost some weight for that season.

However, Kristin is definetely my favorite person to come from this show - she seemed like a fun person to be around.
