With last week's battle royale with Lauren Conrad over the alleged sex tape behind her, Heidi Montag gave her full attention on Monday night's episode of The Hills to her alleged wedding plans!
And, as expected, "fiance" Spencer Pratt acted like his usual compulsive, obsessive self with a response of "let's elope to Cabo" after his girl requested they set a wedding date. How did he dig himself out of this rut after realizing that Heidi wants a perfect princess wedding? By uncharacteristically ceding all control, saying, "Just tell me what day to be there. I'll wear a suit."
Elsewhere in the Hills, LC, Whitney Port and Audrina Partridge pumped some iron - and boy-watched - at the gym, and Whitney got her game face on long enough to score a guy: her trainer, Jarett.
The duo dined a deux after first testing the waters with the other girls in tow, only to realize that, since no first date kisses were exchanged, they just might be "two single people having fun." Maybe this pair is best left for the stretching mat.
Meanwhile, back at the Speidi homestead, the lovebirds almost came to blows when Heidi returned home to find Spencer and two packed suitcases. Off to Vegas, Spencer announces ... for a quickie wedding! Finally, Heidi warned Mr. Mischief that he was starting to push her buttons. (What took her this long?)
When Heidi explained that she has a dream of a large, family-packed wedding, Spencer replied: "Family is a distraction. [The wedding] is really about us." With that, Heidi took off her engagement ring and, with a hair flip or two for emphasis, sulked off while telling Spencer they really need to reconsider their wedding plans.
Anyone who reads Us knows that this fight didn't end in a breakup, but it did end with the kind of sappy Prattism we've come to expect: "I want to marry you. I just get stressed out when I think of the big production when all I want to do is marry you."
Up next week: In the words of Lauren, "The only thing worse than Spencer is a she-version of Spencer." That's right, fans. Spencer has a sister!

i think this episode was old, well the scenes. but i loved seeing whitney. glad to see audrina, lauren and whitney hanging out together. gosh, what is up with spencer's sister? she's not even involved, and their bickering is so old. lauren and audrina are way past it. she's like just spencer, all about drama, seriously. that's the worst quality in a girl, especially if you're not involved, so they don't like spencer, but they're the bigger person and mature ones, who don't spread rumors and take every opportunity they get to trash people.

For this episode I think there was way too much Speidi for me. Everything that was going on didnt seem sincere. The little fight, them making up, Whatever! What's up with his sister next week, that will be interesting. I liked Laurens face, she was looking at her like she was crazy.
Whitney, Lauren, Audrina scenes were cute. It was nice to finally see Whitney outside rather than behind the Teen Vogue desk.
I didn't watch it, but I heard I didn't miss anything important.
Spencer's sister looks like more manly than he does. Can't wait for next week!
This episode was overall boring but Whitney saved the epi somewhat because she is just so cute. It was nice to see her socialize and she is soo cute. Love her.
Jarrett is a good looking guy. Possible the second best looking guy on the hills. He just does not seem very intelligent.
Speidi scenes are annoying not to mention boring. I really cannot stand them and made this epi boring.
Next week: Brody's back... hopefully we will see more flirting with LC. Spencer's sister looks like a crackhead... for real.

these speidi episodes are a waste of time!!! enough already. lets get back to lauren and whitney and teen vogue and all the fashion and audrina's new job and stuff we actually like..
did anyone notice though that in the beginning of the episode, the trainer had a shaved head, but when he was on the date with whitney, he had longer hair? that bummed me out.
^Have you been reading Perez Hilton? His entire goal is to try and make the Hills seem like bullshit because he hates Lauren. I refuse to read him.

I love Whitney...she's steals every scene she's in~ she's so adorable~ her date was good looking but he kept on interrupting her when she was trying to speak..he would ask her something and then interrupt her..... maybe mtv edited it that way...but it seemed so rude.
I just saw another scene for next week and I love how Brody tells Spencers sister that what's going on between the girl is between them, she really has no part in it.
Spencer's sister goes off about leaving Heidi alone cuz they are messing with the wrong girl but it's Heidi who keeps approaching them and talks all the mess, so I thought that was interesting.
I thought that scene from next week's episode was ridiculous. if some random girl walked up to me and said, if you don't like my brother, I don't like you!... I think my immediate response would be, and why should I care, exactly? get the hell away from me.
only in this case, spencer's sister clearly did that just to get on tv.
this episode was very short for me, since I fast-forwarded through all the spencer/heidi crap :)

Perez Hilton apparently wanted to be on the hills but LC said no since he started the rumors about her from info he got from spencer. Since then he has had a vendetta against the sweet and lovely Lauren.
If anyone came to me at a club and started yelling at me like that ... this person is asking for a beat down. Sometimes, LC has too much class.
id rather talk to a brick wall then someone so lifeless and stupid as lauren.

I knew Heidi was trash from season one, now she can capitalize on that since she has drowned herself into a family that is a 100 times worse than her.
