Lauren, 21, and Shawn, 21, cuddled up to each other at Los Angeles hotspot Opera on Nov. 6, an insider tells The Enquirer."Lauren and Audrina (Patridge) were at a table sipping vodka cocktails when Shawn and his friend asked to join," said the insider. "Soon Lauren and Shawn were sitting very close, whispering in each other's ears and laughing hysterically.
"If she was any closer to him, she would have been on his lap! They were totally hitting it off." The weekly entertainment magazine reports that the timing if the hookup couldn't be better for Shawn,. According to the insider, he recently split from his girlfriend of two years. Lauren, best known for her role on MTV reality shows "Laguna Beach" and "The Hills", is also free after a series of romances gone wrong.
In 2004, she dated "Laguna Beach" star Stephen Colletti, and then Jason Wahler, who is currently serving a 30-day jail sentence for assault. Last year she briefly dated Brody Jenner, but the two decided they were better as friends - despite sharing a few onscreen kisses recently. Cute couple!

I think he's pretty attractive. I'd be happy to see her with this guy - at least he's talented and does something with his life which is more than we can say for most of the guys she's dated.
Just to make sure though - he hasn't dated Paris Hilton? That was that other Desperate Housewife guy, right? Because if he has, I may need to take it all back.

Did she though? From what I could tell, it just seemed like they were solely hooking up and not actually going out on dates. And that’s not a dig at Lauren - I’ve been there and done that. But I wouldn’t call it dating per se.
But I guess the term’s subjective - I also don’t get the ex thing either. I think to call someone your ex you have to have called them a boyfriend or girlfriend at some point. Otherwise what is it an ex of? Lauren and Brody dated but I don’t think they were ever boyfriend/girlfriend. The only person that I would call an ex of Lauren’s (that we’ve seen on this show) is Jason.
Shawn Pyfrom is soooo cute.
