Lauren Conrad celebrated the launch her Lauren Conrad clothing line at hot L.A. boutique Intuition, which is the first store to carry The Hills star’s line. By the time the party started at 6 p.m. Tuesday, there were already more than 20 people waiting outside to secure a spot.
Inside, guests munched on mini-cupcakes from The Buttercake Bakery (with flavors like red-velvet, and vanilla with chocolate icing) and sipped champagne and a specialty cocktail called “The L.C.” — which is made with 2 parts Domaine de Canton Liqueur, 3 parts chilled Prosecco, a fresh squeeze of lemon and a twist.
Though the food and drink were flowing, a radiant Conrad, 22, chatted confidently to her customers about her new line and the inspirations for the clothes, which included The Audrina Dress, named for pal Audrina Patridge.
The color palette of the collection included black, white, dark blue, brown and burnt orange, and her pieces, which took up an entire section of the store and were modeled by some store employees, ran the gambit from leggings to tube tops to party dresses
When Conrad — in a long, black V-neck dress from her line, of course, and her hair pulled half back — wasn’t busy charming her new clientele, the young designer greeted friends and fans and obliged them all with pictures.

Good for her!
sounds like fun.
on the black dress in the picture:
I like the dress itself but it doesn't seem to work on her at all.
Yum, I like Buttercake Bakery.
I was honestly surprised when I read about how she was described as chatting confidently with the customers/guests. I didn't picture her to be so professionally open and pleasant; but if it's true, good for her.
^You have to be the most annoying blogger on here.
Why didn't you picture her as this open and pleasant? Because you watch 22 minutes of her life that's edited for storyline? You don't know ANYTHING about this girl. So a comment like that is just ridiculous.
I am glad Lauren's following her dreams and making it happen. GO Lauren!!
^in that same respect, how can you picture her as BEING open and pleasant? Because you watch 22 minutes of her life that's edited for storyline? You don't know anything about this girl.
Also, if anything, since she's being marketed as the sweet, ambitious "good girl", what we see on the show is probably a more open and pleasant version of the real deal.
