Saturday, April 05, 2008 || Don't look for Kristin on 'The Hills'
Laguna Beach star Kristin Cavallari is done working the small screen, folks. EW.com caught up with the celebrity at the premiere of Keanu Reaves' next movie, Street Kings, where she had plenty to say about her big-screen plans and nothing to report about the possibility of appearing on The Hills, despite rumors to the contrary. “I have been asked to come back by MTV a million times to be on The Hills or Laguna Beach or to do a different reality show, but I am not interested," she says. "I am doing what I want to do so I don’t feel pressure to go back. I keep getting jobs. I feel like been there, done that. I did Laguna Beach for two years and had the best time. I feel like I need stuff that challenges me and another reality show won’t do that.”
So what's Cavallari been up to? She recently starred in a new video for Gavin DeGraw, best known for crooning the One Tree Hill theme song. She also shot a short film that Entourage's Kevin Connolly directed that... well, we'll let her describe: "[It's made up of] nine different short films, and the whole thing is called Uncomfortable Moments. My short is called Dry Humping. It is about two high school kids, my boyfriend and I, who are dry humping when his dad comes home and catches us in the act. They are all really funny short, goofy films."
Cavallari also is set to appear in a beach volleyball movie opposite David Charvet called Green Flash this summer. "That was definitely not a hard job to go to every day. And I am about to go to Canada to shoot a movie. I can’t talk about that yet, though. I’m having a good time!"

Since Kristin appeared on our tv screens in Laguna Beach you could taste the desperation, smell the hunger, and touch her lust for fame. Over dramatizing every situation to get more air time. Playing to the cameras by dancing on table tops and not caring what boy she hooked up with next. Even then, you could tell that this girl was trouble. Excuse me then if I distrust Kristin's motivation for befriending Lauren. Lauren does seem to have a habit of doing that, no? First Heidi, then Spencer's sister, and now Kristin. However, it didn't take Kristin long to stab her new "friend" in the back. Cleverly saying "she needs more of a challenge" than reality tv. If you recall, several weeks ago, Kristin wasn't in the news much until she afixed herself with the Hills crowd. First being photographed with Frankie, then dropping the hint she might appear on the hills (yes, she did start those rumors). And now that she has the attention of the media, she's too good for reality tv? Bitch, please.
^I totally agree. I think her main reason to be friends with Lauren is fame. That is all this girl is about. Very pathetic. Too bad she will never be what LC has become.

Omg 8:23, you seriously need to get a life! Kristin's clearly doing well, and your post would have been just an opinion if it didn't go on for so long, and was so ridiculous, that you just seem bitter. In LB she was a teenager, and was by far the most fun and had the best character out of any of them- and since you mentioned Lauren, funny how you don't seem to realise it's Lauren who has all the drama in her friendships currently, and switches best friends every other second.
Good on Kristin that she wants to progress with her career, people hate on the girl for absolutely nothing.

8:23's point is very valid. The only times Kristin sparked any recent interest have all been because she was tied to the Hills. Her movies and whereabouts don't seem to matter as much without any association with the Hills. Sorry, truth hurts. She really shouldn't knock reality tv this soon especially since her movie career has gone nowhere but south. Reality tv was her brightest moment and probably will always be. She'll earn more success now than movies if she goes back to reality tv.

Yes, I agree with the comment about admiring her perseverence. All she's doing is going out there and trying to make it. Whether or not she will is another story, but you can't knock the girl for trying.
^I agree. Many big stars today sarted off in the little mediocre roles. So who knows, if she sticks with it she may get better and get that one role that will make her big.

I would never criticize her for taking small or crappy roles, that's just how people get started. I would, however, criticize her for being a terrible actress.
