Monday, May 19, 2008 || Spencer Fires Back At Brody's Dad
The feud is heating up! Spencer Pratt has words for Brody Jenner's dad Bruce who dubbed him a "bad influence."
"That's a bold statement for someone who only decided to try and be Brody's father after Brody got famous," Pratt tells Usmagazine.com. "He should focus more on trying to be a father and worry less about Brody's influences. Brody's doing just fine."
Bruce Jenner told Us that he blames Brody's pals including Frankie Delgado and Pratt for Brody's womanizing ways.
"He's been brought down by all his friends," Bruce said. "It's not really him. He's a homeboy."
I don't think he does care. He's just defending himself. He probably was there for Brody the whole time he didn't have a dad and saw everything that went on and how Bruce suddenly started wanting back in his life when he got famous. I mean, it is shameful that he said such a thing, but Bruce crossed the line too when he brought names into the picture of specific people to blame. He should have just said "certain people" or "certain close friends" or something to that effect. Honestly, I don't think he should blame Brody's friends for what Brody does. He's a grown boy, he makes his own decisions and ultimately, he's the one in control of his own life.

Anyway, Bruce Jenner left his pregnant first wife for a pregnant girlfriend (Brody's mother) he then married and divorced a few years later, so maybe Brody got his womanizing ways from his dad.
I agree that the blame shouldn't be put on Brody's friends but on Brody himself. Spencer isn't just defending himself. He's reacting like a first grader that can't ignore something that a classmate has said. He does it all the time and he's a cad. He made much more of an accusation than was made against him. He has poor impulse control and cannot be the bigger person-EVER.
Well, I honestly don't think he should just ignore it - I think he has the right to defend himself. I don't think he should have gone into his fathering skills - that's kind of personal and I doubt Brody would want him saying those things either.
God, I feel so lame that I just wrote that. I hate all these people!
