The words Lauren Conrad and half off should be met with cheer -- too bad it pertains to her clothing line.
While Heidi Montag was at Kitson selling her clothes like hot cakes -- L.C.'s line was hanging on the clearance rack. Then LC just happened to walk by.
oh uncomfortable viewing but she handled it well. I still feel kinda bad for LC though but she shouldn't be too worried, her line is still sold elswhere, Heidi's line is only in one shop AND it's tacky
this is at kitson store which already has a bitter relationship with lc because she chose intermix and intuition over them to promote her clothing line. notice how often she is at intermix and intuition shopping or appearing at in-store events. so i'm not suprised they would make a big deal of selling her clothes at half off.
I agree with 4:13. Lauren's line is sold at a lot more stores than Heidi's. I actually live in Ohio and her clothes are sold at 2 stores in my city. Heidi's clothes are just sold at a few places. Lauren's clothes are a lot more accessible and they look better.
did Heidi really say "i love jesus?" and spencer in the background clapping. these people seem to be out to get lauren. they're annoying the hell out of me!
and i dont see Heidi's clothes selling like crazy where I'm at, I personally will not deal with anything with her name on it. the Hills is the only exception cuz I still like everyone else.
The "I love Jesus" part is hilarious!! Sometimes I wonder if she's trying to be campy on purpose...if she was, I think I'd like her better. Unfortunately, I don't think that's the case and she's just a total moron.
Aw, poor Lauren. I know she's successful in other places but its still got to hurt. She's really been feeling the backlash lately that comes from being overexposed. While I shouldn't feel sorry for her because she's just another famous for being famous type, I do feel bad because I think she's a genuinely nice person. For her sake, I do kind of hope this is the last season of the Hills and perhaps she can focus on her line or something that showcases her legitimate talents.
I love Lauren but I think she made a huge mistake pricing her clothing so high. Personally, I like some of her stuff, but I wouldn't pay that much for it. Of course clothes are going to sell faster if they're cheaper! Heidi sucks.
I'm not buying this spin about about how successful her line is. If its so successful, why does she still have clothing on her website from her Winter 2007 collection?
4:13 PM, I dont get how Heidi's line is only sold at "one shop" when it's at kitson and every anchor blue store across the country? i was at the westminster mall last week and there's a life size, actually bigger than life size cut-out/sign of heidi in the window and all these little girls were going "omgiosh look! it's that girl from the hills! should we go in? she's so pretty! her clothes are cute!" etc etc It was kind of funny.

kitson is so hollywood anyone, overpriced and fickle. as long as she is selling elsewhere that is all that matters.
