Doug Reinhardt, Lauren Conrad's ex-boy-toy from the upcoming season of The Hills, is kissing and telling.
"She a good kisser," he tells E! News of L.C.'s smooching style.
Turns out, these two actually go way back. They both lived in Laguna Beach and actually dated during high school after being introduced by Lo Bosworth.
As for Stephanie Pratt's claims on the show last week that he and L.C. only dated about "two weeks," Doug disagrees, calling their relationship "fairly serious."
So whose idea was that so-called date between he and Steph, shown in the trailer?
"Let's just say it wasn't mine," Doug tells me and my Party Girl Radio cohost Whitney English.
As for his love life now, he's currently "single and ready to mingle."
Looks like Lauren feels the same way: She's been spotted spending quality time with My Boys actor Kyle Howard.

even if he is just trying to get his 15 minutes, he didn't say anything bad about lauren - which probably would have gotten him more attention. so he doesn't seem like a bad guy just yet...
I'll reserve commenting until I see him on The Hills. I do think he's cute though.
Honestly, I can't imagine that any normal guy would be so buddy-buddy with Brody and Frankie - I think you'd have to be a d-bag to hang out with them or you'd end up shooting yourself.
So I don't know if he's a bad guy, but he does seem like a tool. And I honestly had high hopes...I thought she had perhaps a nice, normal, cute guy. He just seems very, very fame-hungry IMO. Also, isn't there a part where he takes everyone on his private jet to Mexico or wherever? I know some might just think that's nice, but I think it's a very showboat thing to do. It's not like its even his own money. Why is Lauren always attraced to these types of guys? I just don't get it. I think she's very easily impressed by these types of things.
Also, is he still playing minor league ball? I can't find any record of him playing this year.
Apparently, he's injured.
I can see where a red flag would go up as far as being friends with Brody and Frankie.
I really don't see anything wrong in taking your friends on a private jet if your father is fortunate enough to have one.
It shouldn't count as astrike against him IMO.
As far as guys Lauren is attracted to... She seems to date all over the board if you ask me. The guy she was with at the club this week isn't rich and people are knocking him for being ugly. That little weasel of a guy she dated last year (forgot his name)
at Brody's barbecue wasn't rich and not very good looking either.
The guy she met on a double date with Audrina (season 2 I think) was nice and cute. There was another date but it wasn't shown.
We don't see everything.
That's about as much time as I want to spend thinking about Lauren's love life. lol
^All those guys you mentioned were one-hit wonders who she didn't even like. The fact that she went on dates with normal-seeming guys and dismissed them pretty easily is even more telling. I don't know about the guy she was last seen with, but I don't think we can speculate really on that yet.
Also, is the guy from Brody's BBQ the one that did the interview saying that a producer prodded him to ask for Lauren's interview? I don't think that should count (nor should the French guy because that was obviously also a set-up).
If Doug's injured, I'm not sure if he'll come back. His batting average was .201 from the past three years with little to no improvement shown.

I know I have no basis for this, but I honestly don't believe Doug would have bothered getting back together with Lauren were it not for the fact that she's kind of famous now. He seems like a bit of a tool and is probably just exploiting her.
It is hard to judge Lauren type from the show since a lot of these guys are set up by the producers. That includes: the model at Brody's barbecue, the french guy, the t-shirt and the double date guy. In real life I think she goes for either pretty boys or guys with an edge. Stephen, Jason, Brody, Josh Henderson and Doug. The new is average lookin and he is a working actor.
I like her with Doug at first because they made such an attractive couple. But, Lauren usually looks great with all these guys. She was adorable with both Stephen and Jason, looked hot with Doug and she was perfection with Brody (they made a stunning couple) but it never change the fact that these guys are d bags. Im waiting to judge Doug for myself on the hills.
I think Lauren will find her nextserious guy (relationship) when the show has ended. No matter what she does or who she dates people will have an opinion. (Not cute enough, tool, user, good guy, etc.)I hope she has learned by now to live her life and not read blogs written by people (including myself) who have never and will never meet her, but base their opinions on a fake reality show. I wish her the best of luck and much happiness though.

Lo knowing Lauren since the 3rd grade means nothing in this situation. Did you learn nothing from Jen Bunney? It's just funny how Lo comes back into the picture when the hills gets big and all of a sudden wants to a job in the entertainment industry. at least heidi and audrina (who was sought out by MTV) were on the hills from the start.
and in response to 8:07, heidi and lauren BOTH started getting media attention because of the feud and audrina wasn't really popular until after the nude photos leaked. neither got attention for merely "haning out with lauren". the same can't be said for steph and lo....
Lo wasn't always on the hills because she has a life and she did go to college and just didn't tag along and follow Lauren everywhere. She was originally in laguna beach and that show was equally as popular! Its not same way Heidi and audrina and Doug and shepratt became know ! Basicly because they were somehow a part of Laurens life as for lo she was approached way back from laguna beach days by MTV!! By the way I really miss laguna beach I like that show more than the hills! The hills becoming somewhat fake and its so obvious!
I thought Lo and Lauren had a falling out? Once Jenn Bunney was out of the way I think Lo made up with Lauren pretty quickly and became a regular on the Hills. And she definetely seems to be using it to her advantage.
And LB was not near as popular as the Hills although I think the Hills has the advantage of picking up where LB left off. The Hills is everywhere! I do agree LB was a lot better though.
Doug is so annoying, fame hogger go away!
