Serena, Blair, Dan, Nate, you’ve got a fan in Lauren Conrad.
In fact, The Hills star says she’d love to guest star on the show in its upcoming sophomore season.
“I love Gossip Girl,” Conrad told E! Online. “I just love it. It’s so gossipy and superficial. It’s amazing.”
Then again, Conrad says she’d rather watch the show. “I probably wouldn’t want to see myself on there because it would ruin it for me,” she says. “I like watching other people get gossiped about. It makes me feel better.”
The star is no stranger to gossip herself. MTV has chronicled her life since her high school days on Laguna Beach. Now she’s entering into the fourth season of her own “reality” show The Hills, which returns Aug. 18.
And while Conrad’s love life is always a constant topic of discussion — she’s been seen around Los Angeles with My Boys star Kyle Howard–she insists she’s single.
“My love life is an absolute trainwreck,” says Conrad. “And half of my friends are guys…It’s kind of embarrassing, because you’re out with a group of friends and the next day it says you’re dating one of them and lap dancing, too. You have to say, ‘You know, I’m sorry, but that kind of comes with the territory.’”
And of course, there’s always something to say about her Hills co-stars Heidi Montag and Audrina Patridge. While she plans to “be civil” with Montag, she admits things “will get worse” between her and Patridge on the new season before it gets better.

I don’t understand this - it says she wants to guest on the show, but then she says she doesn’t. Has an offer been made?
ReplyDeleteI love the idea for Greek, but I don’t think she’d work on Gossip Girl. What would she play - herself? I prefer to think that the characters on Gossip Girl could care less about the Hills and LC, especially considering there’s a lot of snobbery with East Coast vs. West Coast. The only way I could see it working was if they were making fun of her.
