The Emmy Awards just can't get enough of Lauren Conrad.
Conrad, made famous by the reality series "The Hills," has been tapped to present an award, the TV academy said. She'd already been called on to design a gown for one of the "trophy girls" who bring awards on-stage.
Conrad joins such established stars as Tina Fey, Kristin Chenoweth and Conan O'Brien in the presenter ranks for the Sept. 21 awards airing on ABC.
Besides Conrad, other presenters announced this week include Christina Applegate, Candice Bergen, David Boreanaz, Wayne Brady, Jimmy Kimmel and Kiefer Sutherland.
Applegate is a nominee for "Samantha Who?" while Bergen received a nod for "Boston Legal."

ReplyDeleteGood for you girl.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, this girl is just taking over the world.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to her for her success, she's obviously doing something right.
so happy for her!
ReplyDeleteGood for her, she is got so much going on this year!!
ReplyDeleteIt's got to be the best year for her, at least so far ;)
i think shes doing an amazing job at everything she does.shes my role model
ReplyDeleteGood for her, but I'm not liking this how much popularity she's getting because it takes away from the show, you can kind of tell during this season that she knows that she's all that. The more popular The Hills and the cast of the Hills gets, the more fake the show actually becomes. The show that we all fell in love with, will just be one big fakefest (I actually believe that most of the Hills prior to this season was real)
ReplyDeleteThe show is not as good because the viewers have to watch Heidi and Spencer faking storylines and multiple scenes of Spencer sitting in the apartment. BORING.
ReplyDeleteIt also isn't as good because
there are redundant storylines involving Stephanie and now Holly.
BORING again.
The audience is tired of Brody as well. New characters are needed.
Lauren threw a bday party for Audrina and cried her mascara off trying to make up with her. That isn't a person who "thinks they're all that." Her problem is how she handles things with Audrina which can be frustrating but hardly the only problem with the show, as currently mentioned.
Anyway, congrats Lauren!
Lauren is awesome. I'm happy for her success.
ReplyDeleteme too!
ReplyDelete14:59 and ticking!
ReplyDeleteDon't you love how Lauren is a spokesperson for mark cosmetics yet she doesn't know about waterproof mascara?????
ReplyDeleteGo Lauren so happy for her...
ReplyDeleteCan you imagine the goody bag she gets to take home.. So jealous!! Lol
Go Lauren!!
ReplyDeleteI agree with 12:15.
ReplyDeleteThe more famous the cast gets...the less real the Hills becomes.
You can defintly notice the change from the first season versus this season.
I still love the Hills just not the scenes with Heidi and Spencer. I see a 5th and final season though with Speidi getting married on it and a spinoff after the hills. I still enjoy the Lauren, Audrina, Lo and Whitney storylines very much. I just wish Lauren had a real boyfriend on the show, it would be more interesting to watch.
ReplyDeleteOne more thing: Her books will do well. I hope she invests her money well. This girl is going to be set for life.
