12:15.. I think it's you that doesn't know about the B bags... yes it's a classic.. I own 2 of them, but I got mine and wore them tirelessly when they first were hot back in like '04... so now mine look nice and worn in.. when I got mine they were so difficult to obtain... I was on a waiting list for months before I got my call.. now they're so mass produced... they're not special anymore. Hers are brand new... she's just gotten into them.. it's LATE. Never heard of Goyard? I own almost every designer bag out there.... you're asking the wrong person.
it's true, Lauren has jumped on the wagon a little late. Those bags were fashion forward years ago and Lauren just started buying them as evidenced by her recently growing collection of different colored b bags.
Lauren's almost always behind the fashion curve. I don't understand how she can be so into fashion and be so late on the trends.
And its not that these things are neccesarily out of style or that I even want her to be trendy. Its just she jumps on it and starts wearing something constantly like its the hot new thing when it's already been kind of played out a year or two ago.
I just don't get how someone who goes to school for fashion and works in the field (both her real job as designer and her fake job styling) can be almost as behind on the trends as mainstream America.
Thank God She did not get them when every hoochie in Hollywood was wearing them. They are the new classic kinda like Chanel. Anyways, Lauren got them for free. She got to pick two of the city hardware from the Balenciaga catolog. She also got some Bal boots too. I know this because a friend of mine is a friend of LC publicist. She also gets tons of clothes for free too.
6:42 Being on the wait list for the B bags goes to show how much you don't know about bags. I got all mine without having to go through any lists, my dear. It's who you know... And yes, I do not think you know Goyard, or even own one. You do not have a clue.
fyi 7:59, while I know you're trying to win a battle here against 6:42 (which I can respect to a certain extent), you might want to try using some different ammo. Right now, you're accomplishing nothing except for sounding incredibly pretentious and snobby.

Being fashionable isn't about being able to afford the pricey items. I have much more respect for the person who uses creativity with fashion with or without lots of expendable cash then the person who just buys the next hot new thing because all the celebs are doing it.
