i agree that this episode was boring. it even made lauren look bad the way she talked about how her relationship sucks to everyone (even her ex and bf's friend) BEFORE she talks to Doug. i don't see why they showed speidi talking about the SAME fake drama they always talk about, and didn't show the roommate drama that people actually care about. the audrina/lo drama is the backbone to this season.
Loved the episode. it was nice to have a break from the lo and audrina drama. its too much at times it seems so fake. love whitney and im glad they are showing more of her. shes classy and never into ignorant stupid drama..
And can there be an episode where Spencer does not mention Lauren.geezz its like hes so obssesed its pathetic. and everything is sarcasm with him hes always complaining and bitchy like a little girl even heidi its annoyed by him.
awwww Doug seems like a really nice guy... since he's on the Hills...they should bring back Casey too... she was fun to watch. Kelly Cutrone's reactions to the model guys were so funny...she's seems really cool when she's not in her "power bitch" mode lol.

As for the rest of it - spencer and heidi (and stephanie) have the same conversation every episode in a different location - enough already. As for the Doug stuff, i'm not a fan of his at all but i thought it was very highschool of lauren to discuss not wanting to go out w/ him w/ everyone else but him. I mean seriously she's 23! Grow the eff up and treat people the way you would like to be treated!
Poor Doug he did not stand a chance with Lauren. After all he was cute, college educated and even had a job as a minor league player. Of course she did not want him. If he had cheated on her multiple times, lie to her about going back to his girlfriend or constantly engaged in drugs and alcohol she would have been all over him. Silly girl. I agree with you all. Great comments. No more Speidi. I almost want to mute their parts. I didn't have a problem with last night's episode, but if you did, Sunday's episode looks great!
Also, kudos to Lauren. I'm happy she finally dumped someone on her show. And I'm just like her...regardless of how good someone is "on paper", it doesn't matter if you don't feel it.

Her family knows his family and vice versa, she's on friendly terms with his sister ( or was) and she had dated him once before so i think she kind of owed it to him to be up front instead of gossiping behind his back. i just think she should have gone about this in a more more polite and grown up way.

That break-up was weird, wasn’t it? What was with her being so smiley the whole time? She was practically glowing. And then he was so pissy - probably because he thought his camera time was over. I’m probably just jaded, but I think this whole thing was set up by production and this was her empowerment story arch where she’s not going to settle (which she told us, like 5 times).
Regardless, watching Doug and Lauren date was like watching paint dry so I’m fine with the decision. And were they ever really together enough to be “dumped” anyway?
I think Stephanie was just joking about the hamster and guinea pig thing, although she seemed kind of stoned which is maybe why Lauren didn’t get it and gave her that weird look.
I also have to say Spencer did a great job this week playing the villain. While I hate Speidi, I think everything they do on the actual show is fake so I don’t take it too seriously…it’s usually just too badly done (especially with Heidi). But Spencer’s “it’s time to go home and cuddle”? Wow – that was creepy! It doesn’t help that he kinda looks like Christopher Walken to me.
