Friday, October 03, 2008 || Audrina Calls Rumors About LC and Justin Bobby ‘Hurtful’
Audrina Patridge has spoken out about Internet rumors that Lauren Conrad has been “hooking up” with her sometimes-boyfriend Justin Bobby.
Though the Hills star will not confirm nor deny their veracity, Patridge has blasted reports on her official blog.
“These rumors are very confusing and hurtful,” she writes in a post on Friday. “I’m not sure what to believe,” she writes, noting that she and Justin Bobby “have not been exclusive for quite some time.”
But Patridge and Bobby are definitely still on. Recently, the two were spotted hanging out at West Hollywood’s Crown Bar, where an onlooker says they were “totally inseparable all night” and were “giggling, laughing and playfully holding hands.”
Conrad also took to the Web Friday to set the record straight. “This accusation is insulting on so many levels,” she posted on her MySpace page. “I’m being accused of being a bad friend, a slut and a liar all at once. It would actually be funny to me if people weren’t taking it seriously.”
To put to rest any doubts about the rumors, Lauren put it this way: “I did not and would never hook up with Justin.”
But before signing off, she spoke directly to Audrina in her post. “We promised we wouldn’t let people get into our ears and make us fight,” she wrote. “You KNOW I didn’t do this and I have never given you a reason not to trust me. What you are doing is hurtful and I don’t want to fight with you.”
Recently, Conrad has been linked to My Boys star Kyle Howard. The pair have frequently stopped in for jazz night at Teddy’s inside the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, and were more recently seen together there on Oct. 2.

I can kind of see where Lauren’s playing the victim card. Now she’s the one who’s so hurt and betrayed because someone questions whether a rumor might be true or not….she’s turned Audrina into the bad guy and herself the victim.
Anyway, my thoughts are that no one knows what happened. It doesn’t seem like something Lauren would do, but people don’t always do what you expect them to. She hooked up with Cisco Adler so it’s not like JB would be the grossest person she’s ever hooked up with.

Yet, as always, it somehow gets twisted around such that Lauren is the victim who is getting used by another friend. Mind you, maybe Lauren didn't do it, but she is in no way a victim of Audrina in this scenario. If anything, maybe she's a victim of the media, but all celebrities are so she can just cry me a river.
It is mind-boggling to me how some people wear blinders when it comes to Lauren. 1) I'm pretty sure that both girls did talk to each other before posting on myspace. I highly doubt, they just immediately ran to their respective computers and logged onto myspace to update their "myspace moods" upon first hearing the rumors.
2) I think you're forgetting that BOTH girls took to "communicating" via myspace, not just Audrina.
And the mere fact that they are communicating through myspace, a very public site that they know millions of people view, further proves that they are purposefully having this arguement for publicity sake. After rumors exploded that Audrina Patridge’s loser boyfriend, Justin-Bobby (real name Justin Brescia) hooked up with LC, both women spoke out.
On the Internets, of course.
This sparked a feud in which Lauren implied Spencer Pratt started the rumor, but also got pissed when Audrina intimated that she "did not know what to believe."
Patridge was similarly upset that Conrad did not talk to her personally.
But the person at the center of all this, Justin-Bobby, stayed out of it — until now.
In Touch Weekly reports the dirtball denied it, saying the hookup didn't happen.
The Hills' two-thirds gorgeous, one-third skeezy, non-love triangle.
“I never hooked up with her,” Justin-Bobby was overheard telling a pal at West Hollywood hotspot One Sunset on October 10. “It’s all for the show.”
Surprised? J-Bobby wasn't in the mood to talk about it for long. When others attempted to talk to him about the rumored fling with The Hills star, “he seemed annoyed that the topic came up,” says one onlooker at the club.
Even worse, he showed off his temperamental side: “And when a group of blondes tried to ask him about it, he threatened to punch them!”
