Saturday, October 18, 2008 || Lauren on Heidi Reunion: "Yes, It's True!"
The Hills stars made up at a Malibu Rum sponsored dinner at STK in Los Angeles Tuesday evening.
Conrad was in the restaurant celebrating her runway show at Los Angeles fashion week with family and close friends.
Meanwhile Montag and beau Spencer Pratt were at the bar eating dinner.
After spotting Conrad, Montag was seen asking if she could congratulate Conrad on her clothing line. And after a brief heart to heart, the two girls were seen hugging.
They were both smiling and seemed happy to be talking.
"Yes, it's true. Heidi was at STK. She came in to the after party to congratulate me on the show," Conrad tells Usmagazine.com. "It was nice of her. I appreciated it."
Over the past few weeks, Montag has been vocal about wanting to be friends again.
"Obviously I miss her, and she was my best friend for a really long time," she told Extra. "Hopefully one day we will be able to work through this and move on and patch some things up."
Conrad also admitted she missed Montag on a recent episode of The Hills.

if lauren is friends with heidi again shes even dumber than i thought.
if a GOOD friend of mine talked that much smack about me i would NEVER let her back into my life.
Heidi and audrina are BAD NEWS! i have lost respect for lauren.
i already know some people are gonna be mad and say blah blah blah forgive BUT once shit like that happens you move on you and i dont mean become friends with that person i mean let it go and let that person go you dont go back to them. especially with all the shit shes done and said about you cmon now girl. they're friends again because they've stopped filming for the hills so they don't have to follow the script anymore.
i think it's funny they patched things up now that the hills is coming to an end. was there every really a problem or does heidi want to get on her good side to stay in the spotlight?
because before all this "i miss lauren" she was taling tons of crap on her. if i were lauren i would be cool with her in public but no way would i start hanging out with her again.
Did anyone see the special last nite the scenes and outtakes that have never been seen before? I didnt know that chanel purse heidi was rocking in season 2 was given to her by lauren. and then how heidi and spencer charged his parents account for cable. it was an interesting show, they'll probably put it with the season 4 DVD.

I really enjoyed it...I thought it was an interesting look into their personal lives, that hasn't already been shown on TV. I formed some new opinions of some of them after watching that! I wish they would air more shows like that!

I loved the lost scenes, too. I found it much more interesting and genuine than any of the episodes to be honest.
I always thought Lauren and Heidi had a genuine friendship and I never believed that Heidi befriended her for fame or whatever (LB hadn't even aired when they met). It was nice to see those moments when they were friends.
However, that friendship? I think its irreparable. And honestly, it's really only like 2-3 years out of their lives and they need to just get over it. Which probably won't happen until the Hills is finally done.
I doubt we'll ever see the two of them hanging out. But Lauren did the mature thing and acted cordial - I give her props for that.
