Audrina Patridge wants to set the record straight about her feud with Lauren Conrad.
The two had a heated exchange on The Hills recently over rumors that Conrad hooked up with Patridge's on-and-off beau Justin Bobby. (The two made amends on Monday's show.)
On her blog, Patridge writes that "never did I EVER call Lauren a 'slut,' 'bad friend,' 'shady person....'"
"I simply asked her a question and that's how she interpreted it. I didn't go around town running my mouth, either," she continues.
As for confiding in Conrad's foe Heidi Montag, Patridge says Montag "knows how Lauren works and when Lauren hung up on me and was acting like a child, I obviously thought the worst. I do always find it interesting to watch the episodes and see what senseless gossip people come up with!"
Above all, she says Conrad and Bobby treated her like she "wasn't worthy of an explanation," adding that their behavior "was almost worse than the rumor itself, and it only got worse the harder I tried to get a genuine answer.
"Instead, I got screamed at and they both got super defensive," she writes.
She goes on to say she's "very glad this whole thing is over and this blog will be the last time" she addresses the issue.
"Dealing with a situation such as this one, where the two people who you really need to talk to are the very same two who turn their backs on you and treat you like you mean nothing, has really opened my eyes.
"I have never been one to hold grudges, though - life is just too precious," she says. "So I guess I learned a very valuable lesson this week - communication is NOT key, so if something bothers you, keep your mouth shut and smile, or you will end up apologizing later. :)"

If I were accused of hooking up with my best friend's boyfriend, I wouldn't take too kindly to be asked to "explain". I don't blame L.C. for refusing to explain how she may or may not have done something Audrina never should have believed in the first place.
uhm... audrina go find yourself. stop clinging onto justin and let lauren go. she was going to listen to her TRUE friends and leave your ass behind but she met up with you anyway to listen to your pity story about how you lost yourself and even comforted you. YET you still play victim and blame lauren for you making a ass of yourself. we see your true colors and you brought them out yoursef stop blaming other people for your insecurities and own up to your own actions and words. although those may not have been words out of your own mouth they were the intentions of your actions.
Audrina is so stupid everything that comes out of her mouth is stupid. Its pathetic to watch. I be embarrased if I was her.

"I didn't go around town running my mouth, either." Or really, so doing a cover story for a tabloid and appearing on Ellen is considered not running your mouth. Sure Adrina, keep living in your delusional world.
Plus, I am tired of her playing the victim in all of this. She chose to believe this laughable rumor, approached the whole situation wrong, then can't believe they both got so defensive. Now she is again chastizing their behavior, acting like she did nothing wrong, pretending she is the bigger person by not holding grudges. What exactly did they do wrong? Oh right, they didn't respond to your lame accusations the way you expected/wanted. I know if I was in Lauren's shoes, I would have been super defensive myself, for the exact reasons Lauren expressed. If Audrina cannot step outside the situation to see that, then she deserves to lose a good friend over her immature behavior. And I love how she calls Lauren's behavior childish. Pot meet kettle. wow, you people are so deluded. A girl hears that her friend slept with her boyfriend and it's absolutely wrong for her to even ask her friend about it? Let's keep in mind that it seems all she did was ask about the situation, as she respectfully wanted to hear her friend's side of the story instead of just believing what she heard.
Dude, Lauren's a bitch for just hanging up on her, what kind of a friend is she? Apparently she's a very pretentious friend who feels Audrina should perpetually put her on a pedestal above the world rather than ask her any questions.
lauren had every right to hang up on her. they have been best friends for a couple years and lauren hasnt done anything to make audrina think that she was hooking up with JB. audrina probably accused her of it on the phone. not asker her about it. she had every right to hang up on her

I saw nothing wrong with Audrina asking Lauren. I don't think Lauren seems like she would do that, but it's not totally out of the question IMO - stranger things have happened. But it was stupid of Audrina to keep hounding her on it. Even if she didn't believe her, she should have found another way to figure out what happened because she wasn't getting anywhere with her constant needing to talk.
acting like a child. audrina is getting really pathetic. I think it's all centered around her undying love for JB and his lackluster feelings for her in return. She's mad he keeps playing her and she can't be woman enough to walk away so she's trying to bring everyone else down with her. I bet when she heard this rumor she secretly wanted it to be true thinking it would be the key to dethrone lauren. Instead she came out looking like she needs to be returned to the loony bin

audrina kept asking and asking the same questions, refusing to accept Lauren's answer; Lauren had all the right to get defensive when Aundrina couldn't accept the truth, she is irritating. I really used to like Audrina, and thought she was really sweet, but now I think she is just a fame whore and likes to play the victim; I agree with Brody that Lauren should just cut her out of her life.
