The fact that anyone looks up to these people regardless of whether or not they’ve had plastic surgery is a little scary IMO. These people are spoiled, brain-dead skanks who partake in insipid conversations and get into catty fights for a living. I couldn’t care less whether they have plastic surgery, as they shouldn’t be role models to begin with.
And I don’t see how them having plastic surgery is anymore damaging to young girls’ self-images than us and the media constantly putting them down for being too fat, too thin, having cankles, big thighs, cellulite, being bobble-headed, having a skin pigment mustache problem, etc., etc., etc. For this I do feel truly sorry for them and other celebrities (I use this term loosely) – I don’t think any of us would like every imperfection pointed out anytime we left our house as if it’s the end all be all and I think it is destructive to young girls out there who feel they have to be perfect, too.
1:52 & 9:25 first of all young girls should not be watching these shows. ever heard of parental supervision. And speaking of parents, every parent should teach their children NOT to look up to actors or sports heros but to look to the people in their community, the teachers, the people volunteering at the homeless shelter etc. you can't blame audrina or any of these girls for parents failing to do their jobs... and yes she had her lips plumped. big f-ing deal. She was teased continually in blogs for having no upper lip and she did something about it. her face. her body. her business. end of story!!
