Tuesday, February 24, 2009 || Lauren out at the United Talent Agency
While she may have been partying the night away Sunday after the Oscars, yesterday (February 23) it was back to business for Lauren Conrad.
The “Hills” hottie was spotted coming out of the United Talent Agency office building in Los Angeles, California following a business meeting.
Miss Conrad looked simple-yet-sexy as she passed the paparazzi, sporting a black jacket, black top, slim-fit jeans, and black flats and carrying a bottle of SmartWater.
The night before, LC enjoyed schmoozing with fellow celebrities at the 10th Annual Academy Awards Celebration Dinner and After-Party benefitting Children Uniting Nations along with her bestie Lauren ‘Lo’ Bosworth.
^IKR? Lauren has a habit of latching onto trends like her life depends on it. Remember the braid? And the Ray Bans? And those generic plaid shirts? For someone who's supposed to be a fashion designer, she is not very creative in her dress sense. She is very much a trend follower.

I like this look. Still not crazy about the bangs, but they look much better swept more to the side rather than like pieces of yarn hanging on her forehead.
I do agree she's a little too trendy - I prefer when she sticks to her classic, girly style which I love. I don't care if she's not particularly creative, but I hate when she looks like another starlet wannabe.
That said, I do think this look is pretty classic - even the so-called trendy wayfarers are classic staples IMO. I love her blazer, too.
And I actually see the braid as something she kind of made a trend - and I honestly kind of liked it. She just did it ad naseum which was kind of annoying.
The braid was a great look for her and Idon't remember seeing it so much that it was annoying. Most people wear their hair the way it seems most becoming and she definitely wore it well so what's the problem.
I don't see her trendy at all. She has always followed her own personal sense of style.

Yeah, IMO Lauren kind of started the braid thing, but she did overdo it in the end.
