“The City” socialite Olivia Palermo has responded to co-star Whitney Port’s comments on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” earlier this week.
Calling in from New York to the “Valentine in the Morning” radio show in LA on Thursday, Olivia insisted that she had no hard feelings toward Whitney despite her unfriendly remarks.
“I have nothing bad to say about her. I think she’s a sweet girl and I think she’s adapted well to New York,” Olivia said.
Even after the mutual tension seen between the girls during the DVF holiday office party on this week’s episode of the MTV show, Olivia noted that the drama may be one-sided. But she went on to say that she found Whitney’s comments “a little disappointing, because I feel that working together, we worked out really well.”
In her late-night appearance on Wednesday, Whitney had some harsh words for her co-star.
“I don’t know if I hate her—she’s very difficult to worth with,” she said. “She’s not an angel. She’s very opinionated. She treats me like a pet project, like out of the middle of nowhere I was born just yesterday. Sometimes I want to slap her.”

olivia - that was classy ;)
ReplyDeleteolivia is annoying as heck....she's trying to act like Blair from Gossip Girl too much.
ReplyDeleteWhat a little bitch
ReplyDeletelazy eye!!
ReplyDeleteLove her! She has a lot more to offer the city than Whitney who is booooooooooooring.
ReplyDeleteI have to admit that I think Olivia is good for the show, but I do think she's a bit of a poseur. I don't think these comments were really that bad considering what Whitney said was kind of harsh, but if she's acting like a diva that's pretty stupid. Let's not forget that she's kind of a joke in the socialite world.
ReplyDeleteI can't help it though - I kind of loved her for telling Whitney that something was "too much information" for her to be hearing right now and "we're not in highi school" or something. I mean, I know that all the gossip is just part of the gig, but it still cracked me up.
