I adore Whitney. While Olivia may demean Whitney's background and origins from LA, Olivia could learn a lot from the way Whitney conducts herself.
I definitely agree about Olivia being pretentious. She really comes across as super stuck up and snobby. But she looks better here with the darker hair.
Yes, she comes across as pretentious and she probably is but most of the time she is spot on with what she says. It's the way she says things that is f-ed up. I mean let's face it she was right about skinny girls ruling the runway. It might not be right but it is what is. ditto with Whitney and co involving themselves in Allie & Adam's love life. I love Whit but you can't get involved in other people's relationship dramas. .
I like Olivia. I don't know why I do but I do. She is beautiful yet obviously very insecure and it makes her fascinating to watch. Kind of like Lauren (minus the bitchiness) in the early Laguna years.
The way she talks will be her downfall. Although Lauren is very wealthy, you never heard her talk about it and certainly not in a way to exclude or alienate others. It's a turnoff but maybe Olivia will grow with the series
7:34 Not sure I agree with Lauren not being snobby. That said, Lauren's snobbiness is much more understated. She does a lot of eye-rolling or talking behind your back instead of Olivia's in your face method. While I love both girls I could do without all the judging.... but that's just me.

Ew...Olivia SWEARS. It's always the snobby bitches with lots of money who think that they're on a higher level level than God. But take their money away, and they'll be on their knees in church begging God to help them.
I do think Olivia is partially being over the top because she is playing a role for the show and for the ratings.
But, there's no denying she's a snob but than again, so are Lauren & Lo. Olivia is just more direct about it whereas Lauren and Lo are covert snobs, turning their noses up at anyone not like them (for ex: Audrina's friends)

She comes from a different social group but she is triying to be friends with whitney and what she did for jay in last episode was nice. If her cousin did something wrong its not her fault. She has a high opinion of herself and that is her big problem. But I think she gave whitney only good advice so far.she is definitely not very fun and young in her mind cause she seems so much in control but i think shes the kind of friend you can go talk to about your problems and have a good mature objective advice that helps and its always good .
