Monday, June 18, 2007 || Lauren and Audrina - The Awful Truth
These are from two separate articles.
-“Costars” Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt were at the carnival, too. Their big poop of an engagement may have been a desperate publicity stunt, but they did seem very much together, laughing and holding hands as they exited, oh, about one minute before Lauren and Audrina showed up. Coincidence?
“We didn’t even know she was coming,” Audrina said oh so innocently, regarding Ms. Em. Lauren added, “You grow up and you kind of grow apart from people. We don’t live together, we don’t work together...We don’t really see her anymore.”
- Living here in La-La Land, you can’t go anywhere without someone mentioning Paris Hilton, so I had to ask good girls Lauren Conrad and Audrina Patridge to dish on the recent drama.
“I feel bad for her...but you know, you’ve got to face the consequences,” said sweet little Audrina. “They’re making an example of her,” L.C. offered. “I mean, it goes both ways. You can’t have this attitude that nothing’s going to happen to you if you do something wrong, but at the same time, there are people out there that are getting away with much more and not going to jail.” Such a PC answer, Laur! You been hangin’ with Kathy Hilton, or somethin’?
Yeah, I get what you mean. I think it's no secret that the show follows the same formula most reality TV shows use. Where certain situations are set up to create a scenario. Even though this seems contrived, I still don't think it's scripted. I think the conversations and drama they get from these scenarios are real. Or as real as they can be.
"New City, New Drama"
The Hills (Season 1) | Ep. 101 Plot: Lauren and Heidi move into their new place to start their new lives in The Hills. But the girls begin to drift apart when Lauren's new found responsibility towards school and work clashes with Heidi's partying, drama filled lifestyle. Download || Watch Online

I think the entire show and everything is kinda fake, although it is quite entertaining.
Why would they not know she is showing up, if they are always invited to all the same events??

I wish we had pictures of Heidi and Spencer from the carnival. They are so cute together!! Paris Hilton is a lush, she belongs in jail.
