Seasoned reality TV star Lauren Conrad of The Hills passed by Just Jared on the red carpet at first (Heidi & Spencer were making their way down the press line) but graciously came back after the coast was clear. Dressed in Pamela Roland and jewels by Laurie Rodkin and Cavier & Kind, Lauren dished about her dating life and the second season of The Hills.On her rumored flame, American Idol contestant Chris Richardson: “Very sweet kid. He’s just a friend of mine… I’m not dating anyone.”
On Heidi & Spencer’s engagement: “I don’t know anything about. I don’t believe in anything I read… I do read Just Jared but I also believe people leak things by themselves.”
On bad publicity being good publicity: “It depends what kind if career you’re going for. I think if you’re looking for 15 minutes, any publicity is good publicity. But if you’re trying to maintain an image, that publicity doesn’t help you out.”
On her supposed sex tape: “It was just a rumor. Nothing came out of it obviously because it wasn’t true. So, I think it’s gone away.”
On not regretting going to Paris with Teen Vogue and staying in L.A. with then boyfriend Jason Wahler: “No, because I can’t go back and change it. I had a lot of good things happen to me that summer. You can’t go back. I’ll take myself to Paris!”
On her upcoming fashion line: “It’s a mixture of girl from the beach and girl from LA. It’s a lot of empire and trapeze cuts. Lots of flowy, really comfortable and effortless chic looks. You can throw it on with some cute heels and you’re ready to go. It’ll be online first and then we’re going to sell them at boutiques.”
On how the third season of The Hills will differ from the first and second: “We’re filming in the summer, we’ve never filmed in the summer before. We might get a beach house. We’ve been doing the Roosevelt Pool Parties. It’s a little more LA summertime.”

short but sweet. I loved Lauren's answer about bad publicity being good publicity depending upon what image you're going for. She made a great point and without even mentioning the gruesome twosome by name. Go Lauren!
She totally made a really good point on the publicity thing. She's not willing to compromise herself just for the price of fame. Others should take note ( I think we know who those are). The girl has class period. And she looked gorgeous that night!
LMAO. Some of you seriously act like Lauren is God. She's just a normal girl. She looked awful on the red carpet. She could have worked that dress so much better. I've been disappointed in her look recently.

Lauren looks stunning in that dress. I like her interview. I cannot wait for her fashion line to come out... hopefully, it will be in Macy's.
^^^We act like Lauren is God because nobody said anything bad about her? You guys NEVER say anything bad about Kristin or Heidi but nobody accuses you of thinking she is God. I remember Kristin went to an event once and her hair was all over her head. It looked like she just came back from bungee jumping and all of the Kristin fans said she looked gorgeous lmao. Don't call me a crazy Lauren fan because I like Kristin and Heidi too. I just think it's stupid that you guys all think Lauren fans are stupid and that we all think she is God when you guys all act the same with Kristin and Heidi.
Lauren's dress was a joke, did she think she was going to the Oscars? LMAO. I used to like her but she's so annoying these days. Her interview was flat and tepid and a bit passive aggressive (like always), she should be more interesting.
I thought her interview was pretty straightforward and thoughtful. Sorry she didn't have a fake engagement to announce or anything. ;p
