Monday, August 20, 2007 || Lawsuit: Wahler's a Racist, Homophobe, Chubby Hater
Former Laguna Beach star Jason Wahler didn't just beat the crap out of a Department of Transportation officer last year, he's also accused of calling the guy a "nig**r, motherf**ker, f*g, and "fatass."In a lawsuit filed Friday in L.A. County Superior Court and obtained by TMZ, Jonathan Wallace claims Wahler and model Kristen DeLuca approached both him and a tow truck driver who was impounding a car, when Jason began "thrusting his chest into that of the tow truck driver while unleashing a verbal barrage of racial statements and swearing profusely." Wallace also alleges that in the middle of Jason's tirade, Wahler "initiated physical contact" with another tow truck driver by repeatedly punching the man in the face. Wallace claims that during the ruckus, Jason somehow managed to sock him in the left eye too.
The LAPD arrived to the scene shortly after, where they arrested Wahler and DeLuca. Cops say Wahler's blood alcohol level was nearly three times the legal limit. He later plead no contest to battery and was sentenced to 60 days behind bars.
Wallace is asking for $200,000 in damages.

I kinda feel sorry for him - we've all done awful things when we're drunk. But not quite this awful...

I don't know...I agree he also sounded like a KKK member. Did you read what he said? That's some messed up stuff and he should have been charged with a hate crime.
I hope he's on the right path now, but that doesn't mean the things he did weren't horrible. He's not the victim here.
Hate to say it but I agree with 10:54. Definite ignorance. You know how many people may feel the same way about minorities that just don't voice their opinion? Doesn't mean he supports or is a part of the KKK, just means he is prejuduce and uneducated. And by no means am I advocate his behavior; just trying to help the "misinformed"
I'm seriously shocked at some of the responses. We're in the 21st century and people feel sorry for him? I know no one is advocating this behavior, but I can't believe that some excuse it.
Also, no one said that he was in the KKK or even supports it; just that he sounded like a KKK member when he made those comments.
And I agree that a lot of people have the same feelings about minorities...it doesn't make it less reprehensible just because others are doing it.
I, for one, hope he gets his life together. I don't know him personally so I will give him the benefit of the doubt that he is deep down a good person. But I don't feel sorry for him that he's being sued. Part of recovery is to make ammends for things he's done even while under the influence.
Just to put it in perspective, how many would feel sorry for him if he got drunk/high and beat up Lauren and she sued him?
He is rascist!!
But he isn't that much a rascist duck because he did go out with cami who was half black! & he was drunk and anything comes out when your drunk
