LOVED Lauren's apology to Audrina. It was so needed. Whether Lauren likes Justin or not she needs to respect Audrina and her choices if they want to stay close. I think Spencer spread the rumors and Brody knew about it but didn't bother to tell Lauren because he was still friends with Spencer at the time. No one really likes Jen Bunney...they're just using her to pass info back and forth between Heidi and Lauren since they're not speaking to each other. It seems like Lo is a good friend of Lauren's but also is jealous that Lauren might be making up with Jen and then possibly Heidi in the future ... Lo seems like she doesn't want Lauren to have all these other friends beside her.
Brody "seems" like a go w/ the flow kind of guy but let's remember he was right there during the Interview magazine articl when they were both talking a whole mess of trash. So, why is it so hard to believe that Brody is part of this? Because he's quieter and better looking???
I loved this episode because MTV did a better job. First, there was less voice dubbing and MTV allow these characters to speak rather than cutting them off.
Lauren- Love her. Although I dont think she should have apologized to Audrina but it shows that she can be the bigger person. JBOB is both rude and obnoxious. I hope at least Audrina will leave him the next time they go on a group trip since he cannot be around so many people. I also like the way that she approach the situation with Brody. She did not go there accusing him... start arguing with him. She just ask him the questions. When he refused to answer fully... she pressed him until he told her the truth. I think LC is maturing right in front of our eyes. I also love the white dress she wore in her last scene with withney.
Brody- I think he has genuine feelings for LC and handles her quite well. I also love their interaction... if they do get together it will be a mature relationship than she had with Jason. I dont think that Brody was involve at all in this sex tape scandal. I think he found out later... and just kept his mouth shut because he did not want to be part of the drama. There are plenty of stuff that spencer does... and we do not see Brody doing. For example, we never see him stage photoshoot or call around the country to give interview. He just goes about his business. Plus, he never trash talk any of his ex-gfs, not Kristin, Nicole or LC. He might be a famewhore but I dont think he is malacious and wants to be part of any drama.
Jenn Bunney- Sometimes I like her other times not soo much. It is good she value her relationship w/ LC. I thought it was wonderful that she told LC about Brody just to warn her but she has low self esteem. She allowed Heidi to walk all over her.
Speidi- They were BOTH responsibe for the rumors. I think that there must have been a tape of LC and Jason fooling around... Both were upset about how they are protrayed on the show so they made it their goal to ruin LC good girl reputation. Heidi told Spencer and he just ran with it... Heidi is not even that good of an actress... she got super defensive when Jenn just asked her if she was involved.
Audrina- BITCH. I hope LC bitch slap her the next time she comes and complain about her nasty boyfriend. If she was a decent friend to LC, she should have had JBOB apologize for his rudeness. Then, her last statement "I think something might spark between her and Brody"... I have not seen LC trying to intefere with her dating life. She just think that JBOB was rude and she has good reason to think that. She is using LC just like Heidi.
LO and Whitney- my faves. Glad Lo spoke the truth " just is such a loser, whaterver". I just love her because she is real. Whitney is love always.
Lauren totally needed to apologize to Audrina. Justin is Audrina's boyfriend and if Audrina & Lauren are going to stay friends she needs to accept him AND his quirky ways. No one said Lauren has to like him but she does have to not put him down or question the status of their relationship anymore. That's what friends do. Believe me, I'm sure Audrina was like "what?!" when Jason started calling Lauren again but like a good friend she was supportive and listened to Lauren instead of judging her.

I agree with the person who said that Lauren is maturing. JB has issues for sure, but it isn't Lauren's place to say so. She needs to support Audrina and realize JB's issues are Audrina's choice to deal with. Just as LC chose to deal with Jason's in the past. I don't think Brody's totally innocent about everything but I think he made the choice to stand by Lauren, which he has. The Details article was so damaging. It's possible it hit him what a jerk he was hanging out with (Spencer) and that he too was starting to follow that path. They may have been joking around at first but Spencer took it to the next level. I think that's why they parted. In the end, Brody chose not to go Spencer's way. Just my theory of course! I find Brody and Lauren's relationship interesting. I would imagine Brody is pretty used to getting most girls that he's interested in, but then there's Lauren who he confides in and is really very close to. We don't know all of what happened in that scene because the Hills is edited to death but no, Audrina doesn't have to apologize for Justin. Should Lauren apologize for Jason's past behavior? No! That said, this whole Justin not getting along with Lauren and Lo drama began when Lo made fun of him the very minute she and Lauren met him. It set a very bad tone and things have continued on in that vein evver since. And of course it hasn't helped that the rest of the world now calls him Justin Bobby too. I think if Lauren and Lo had addressed the situation back then things would be fine now but so much has happened since then that the feud" has just gained momentum. Whether you like Justin or not put yourself in his shoes for a minute. He feels like he's being judged continually. Who wants to deal with that type of crap? I think Justin is a quiet arty musician guy who is probably great to deal with one on one and not so much in groups. Different strokes for different folks. I thought Brody looked pretty guilty and insincere. I think it was Spencer's idea, no doubt, but I still think Brody added a few things such as the whole beef curtains thing...even if it was just locker room talk. Don't forget that there were multiple sources and Brody during that time was still friends with Spencer and not talking to Lauren. I'm not saying he was definitely in on it, but I'm certainly suspicious.
I just wish Lauren would wake up and at least be a bit more wary...I was totally cringing with her whole "true friends" thing. I mean, "true friends"? WTH? As for Heidi, I'm starting to wonder if she actually didn't have anything to do with the sex tape rumor initially, unless there really was one and she confided that to Spencer. It was during her whole surgery spiel, right? It sounds like perfect timing for Spencer. And I think she knew Spencer did it, but she didn't want to believe it so that's why she keeps denying it so vehemently. It doesn't change that Heidi was compliant and is an absolutely horrible friend (her nasty interviews erased any possible doubt of that), but I'm just trying to put together the pieces.

I think Brody's motive would boil down to publicity, which is ultimately what I think Spencer's motive is. Brody definitely has a reputation for using people for publicity,so I guess to me it fits.

EXACTLY. Audrina constantly goes and tell LC things. "look at him...he has been ignoring me all day... he is such a flirt" and my favorite..."im done" when jb left her at Brody's barbecue. The truth is if you want to date a loser than do not go around whinning to anybody that will listen to you that he is a loser. What is Lauren suppose to say? I think LC handled herself quite well in the JBOB issue... She spoke her mind when Audrina asks her for her opinion. She is not going to lie and tell her what she wants to hear... that would make her a sucky friend.
What got me more was the scene of Audrina playing pool with justin. She said something to the effect that he does not like to be around a lot of people. Then why come to vegas with a group of friends who are going to meet another group of friends? He needs to stay home if he is an antisocial person! Lo is the only person who see the situation correctly "justin is loser, whatever". I echo her sentiment whole heartly.
Brody had nothing to do with the rumors. I think that he might have heard Spencer jockingly talk about sex tapes... maybe he laughed about it but probably did not think spencer would go that far. Secondly, he probably never said anything bad about LC anatomy. If that was the case why is he chopping of the bit to get back with her? Spencer made up all these rumors and lies to humiliate Lauren and ruin her repution and that includes: using adderal, beef curtains and sex tape. He has talk multiple times about sex tape during interviews. Brody probably found out later and he did not want to get involve in the drama so he stayed out of it. Audrina also said in her OK interview it was a mutual friend of LC and spencer at the time that told Lauren it was spencer and Heidi. Lastly, those who thinks that Heidi was not in on it from the beginning are fooling themselves big time. Remember the whole jenn/brody hook up. Heidi arranged it and saw her plan thru. She would do anything to hurt Lauren and then denied it later on.
Lauren is pathetic, Brody is using her, he has from day one, He loves being her friend so he can be on the Hills, watch when the Hills is over he won't even hang out with her.

we saw Audrina complain about Justin exactly 2 times- that is not constantly and I'm sure Lauren complained much worse about Jason during their days together. Point being we all complain to our gf's whether our guys are jerks or a gems - it's the nature of relationships (especially female ones) to want to discuss, share and yes let off some steam too. I don't think you can call Justin a loser because we haven't seen enough of how he is and what he's about. With Spencer it's clear cut. Justin - not so much. The whole sex tape drama is old by now. It's obvious who had the strongest motive-Spencer. He hates Lauren and has done plenty of things to hurt her including berating her on his myspace page. He's a child. I'm not convinced Brody did anything. While I'm not wild about him not telling Lauren-he was caught in the middle and didn't want to be there. Did Frankie know too? Personally - I tell my friends that if they want me to like a guy they need to stop telling me all the negative stuff about thim. It does not take a genius to see that Brody and LC cares for each other and that they have great chemistry. Their scenes appears natural and nothing is forced between them. Brody has given many interviews where he says nothing but wonderful things about LC. Whether they will be more than friends or not... I think that they both have genuine feelings for each other.

Heidi is not even that good of an actress... she got super defensive when Jenn just asked her if she was involved.
Audrina- BITCH. I hope LC bitch slap her the next time she comes and complain about her nasty boyfriend. If she was a decent friend to LC, she should have had JBOB apologize for his rudeness. Then, her last statement "I think something might spark between her and Brody"... I have not seen LC trying to intefere with her dating life. She just think that JBOB was rude and she has good reason to think that. She is using LC just like Heidi.

Lauren totally needed to apologize to Audrina. Justin is Audrina's boyfriend and if Audrina & Lauren are going to stay friends she needs to accept him AND his quirky ways. No one said Lauren has to like him but she does have to not put him down or question the status of their relationship anymore. That's what friends do.
Believe me, I'm sure Audrina was like "what?!" when Jason started calling Lauren again but like a good friend she was supportive and listened to Lauren instead of judging her.

I was happy to see Lauren apologize because she was in the wrong here. Just because JB is different from the guys Lauren dates there's no excuse for putting him down. Period!
I agree with the person who said that Lauren is maturing. JB has issues for sure, but it isn't Lauren's place to say so. She needs to support Audrina and realize JB's issues are Audrina's choice to deal with. Just as LC chose to deal with Jason's in the past.
I don't think Brody's totally innocent about everything but I think he made the choice to stand by Lauren, which he has.
The Details article was so damaging. It's possible it hit him what a jerk he was hanging out with (Spencer) and that he too was starting to follow that path. They may have been joking around at first but Spencer took it to the next level. I think that's why they parted. In the end, Brody chose not to go Spencer's way.

I find Brody and Lauren's relationship interesting. I would imagine Brody is pretty used to getting most girls that he's interested in, but then there's Lauren who he confides in and is really very close to. Wonder how often he feels that close to a girl? lol I mean I feel Frankie's frustration with these two. lol!

No! That said, this whole Justin not getting along with Lauren and Lo drama began when Lo made fun of him the very minute she and Lauren met him. It set a very bad tone and things have continued on in that vein evver since. And of course it hasn't helped that the rest of the world now calls him Justin Bobby too. I think if Lauren and Lo had addressed the situation back then things would be fine now but so much has happened since then that the feud" has just gained momentum. Whether you like Justin or not put yourself in his shoes for a minute. He feels like he's being judged continually. Who wants to deal with that type of crap? Lauren doesn't know really know Justin and vice versa. Yes his past behavior has sucked but so did Jasons. I think Justin is a quiet arty musician guy who is probably great to deal with one on one and not so much in groups. Different strokes for different folks.
I do think Lauren and Justin both need to learn to be polite and tolerate one another as it looks like Audrina is going to hang on to him for awhile.

I thought Brody looked pretty guilty and insincere. I think it was Spencer's idea, no doubt, but I still think Brody added a few things such as the whole beef curtains thing...even if it was just locker room talk. Don't forget that there were multiple sources and Brody during that time was still friends with Spencer and not talking to Lauren. I'm not saying he was definitely in on it, but I'm certainly suspicious.
I just wish Lauren would wake up and at least be a bit more wary...I was totally cringing with her whole "true friends" thing. I mean, "true friends"? WTH? If nothing else, Brody was still friends with Spencer knowing that he spread those rumors about her, plus there was the whole Jenn Bunney thing. I'm glad she has high standards for her female friends (especially after the whole Heidi debacle), but she should stop letting her guy friends off the hook so easily.
As for Heidi, I'm starting to wonder if she actually didn't have anything to do with the sex tape rumor initially, unless there really was one and she confided that to Spencer. It was during her whole surgery spiel, right? It sounds like perfect timing for Spencer. And I think she knew Spencer did it, but she didn't want to believe it so that's why she keeps denying it so vehemently. It doesn't change that Heidi was compliant and is an absolutely horrible friend (her nasty interviews erased any possible doubt of that), but I'm just trying to put together the pieces.

I still don't understand what brody's motive would've been? spencer had an obvious motive, since he and lauren hate each other. brody, not so much. and as far as we know, he's never publically said an unkind word about kristin, even though there was clearly some drama in the way their relationship ended.
don't get me wrong, I think brody is kind of douche, but this just doesn't seem like his MO. if he looked guilty, it was probably because he knew spencer did it, but didn't want to rat him out.
I think Brody's motive would boil down to publicity, which is ultimately what I think Spencer's motive is. Brody definitely has a reputation for using people for publicity,so I guess to me it fits.
I don't think it was Brody's idea, but just that he sort of went along with it - maybe by contributing information to it, or perhaps he confirmed the rumor. I do believe that Spencer is the main guy, but I think others were involved and not just Heidi either.
Regardless, he did nothing to stop it and stayed friendly with Spencer, which is as much as Heidi did as far as we know. But yet, Lauren calls him a "true friend". I just wish she'd at least realize she deserves better than that from her friends.

EXACTLY. Audrina constantly goes and tell LC things. "look at him...he has been ignoring me all day... he is such a flirt" and my favorite..."im done" when jb left her at Brody's barbecue. The truth is if you want to date a loser than do not go around whinning to anybody that will listen to you that he is a loser. What is Lauren suppose to say? What got me more was the scene of Audrina playing pool with justin. She said something to the effect that he does not like to be around a lot of people. Brody had nothing to do with the rumors. I think that he might have heard Spencer jockingly talk about sex tapes... maybe he laughed about it but probably did not think spencer would go that far. Secondly, he probably never said anything bad about LC anatomy. If that was the case why is he chopping of the bit to get back with her? Spencer made up all these rumors and lies to humiliate Lauren and ruin her repution and that includes: using adderal, beef curtains and sex tape. He has talk multiple times about sex tape during interviews. Brody probably found out later and he did not want to get involve in the drama so he stayed out of it. Audrina also said in her OK interview it was a mutual friend of LC and spencer at the time that told Lauren it was spencer and Heidi. Lastly, those who thinks that Heidi was not in on it from the beginning are fooling themselves big time. Remember the whole jenn/brody hook up. Heidi arranged it and saw her plan thru. She would do anything to hurt Lauren and then denied it later on.

we saw Audrina complain about Justin exactly 2 times- that is not constantly and I'm sure Lauren complained much worse about Jason during their days together. Point being we all complain to our gf's whether our guys are jerks or a gems - it's the nature of relationships (especially female ones) to want to discuss, share and yes let off some steam too. I don't think you can call Justin a loser because we haven't seen enough of how he is and what he's about. With Spencer it's clear cut. Justin - not so much. I don't think Justin is anti-social just better in one on one situations. I'm like that too. I'm sure it was awkward for Justin to be part of the "crew" in Vegas with Lo (who he clearly has issues with) right in the middle of all the social stuff. I think we would have seen a very different Justin if he and Audina had gone to Vegas w/ his friends or even on a solo trip.

Personally Lauren should not have apologized to Audrina. She complained about him constantly. It was more than 2X. Personally - I tell my friends that if they want me to like a guy they need to stop telling me all the negative stuff about thim. How am I suppose to like someone when all I hear is "he treats me so bad." I think that's what first caused the problem with the whole Justin thing and then meeting him didnt help matters. Girls talk that's what we do but Audrina telling Justin that Lo thinks this or Lauren said that didnt help anything either. I think Lauren's apology was cool hopefully they reached an understanding because ultimately Audrina is going to do what she wants anyway and everyone will have to deal.
As far as the sex tape, Im over it. Im so tired of hearing about it. I think The Hills is full of shady characters. It does not take a genius to see that Brody and LC cares for each other and that they have great chemistry. Their scenes appears natural and nothing is forced between them. Brody has given many interviews where he says nothing but wonderful things about LC. Whether they will be more than friends or not... I think that they both have genuine feelings for each other.
