Lauren here, giving you the latest details of My Mobile Life!
Last week was my big photo shoot for the mark. cosmetics campaign. Although it took twelve hours each of the two days, it was a lot of fun to hang out at the beach.
The first day we shot in Malibu -- that was gorgeous. The next day we went to this really colorful polka dot house in Santa Monica that had a retro '60s/Barbie feel - it even had a stripper pole in one room. It was cool and a little weird at the same time.
Normally on a shoot, you get some down time to relax or text friends, but in between each shot I had to get my makeup redone to achieve each of the 15 different looks, so there really was no time to just hang out. During the shoot, we played lots of Fergie to get the mood going. I also got to work with my little sister, Breanna, who appears in the ads too! It was a blast!
oh you poor thing having to SIT there while people slave over you and get your make-up done for a photo shoot on a beautiful Malibu beach (let's ignore the fact that on your personal days, half your day is spent primping anyway).
I will give her a little credit though. Even though she's had everything handed to her on a silver platter, she does try to do a little work when she could have just as easily taken the Paris Hilton route. But she is a far cry from hard-working and having it rough.
While I wouldn't call it hard work, I think it's probably a bit boring to have all that stuff done and waiting around. Yeah, not really a "poor you", but I think she was more or less highlighting that it was 15 different looks.
What I don't understand was her connection of the Barbie/60s vibe with the stripper pole...what was that about? Maybe she just means it was a weird house? The way she phrased it made it sound like those things all go hand-in-hand.
