Wednesday, November 07, 2007 || Lauren & Heidi's Secret Meeting: Are They Friends Again?
It seems Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag have put their differences aside and ended their celebrity feud. The Hills stars were seen together the weekend before Halloween getting into Lauren's black Mercedes convertible, which was parked in the garage of Lauren's building, a source tells Star. "They were laughing, hugging and being very affectionate with one another," says the source."There were no MTV cameras around," the source adds. "This seemed like the real deal. I saw Heidi coming to visit Lauren at her apartment without her fiancé Spencer Pratt."
So why the low-key meeting? "I think Lauren and Heidi made a secret pact not to tell anyone," the source says. After all, The Hills thrives on drama from their falling out. Things will heat up on Monday's episode though when Lauren and Heidi have a face-to-face talk. Considering that Lauren tells Heidi, "I want to forgive you, and I want to forget you," in a video preview of the episode, it doesn't seem like an on-screen reconciliation is imminent.

I have thought all along that the feud could have been fabricated for a good story line and the make up could be at the end of this season.

i'm not sure till i see them out together again, star magazine was the one also to report that lo was jealous of how close audrina and lauren were. that she wanted to breakup their friendship, so she could be lauren's roommate. star has report a lot of ridiculous things.
I'm all for forgiveness but forgetting is the hard part. Fake or not I wouldnt be able to look at someone the same after they reported things about me on radio and in magazines. Be cordial with the girl when they go out, sure, but hanging out buddy buddy wouldnt happen in my book.

I do understand Lauren missing their friendship, it's no different than missing the guy you just broke up with. But just like with a guy break-up, there's a reason that it happened. I have watched LC since season 1 of LB and all during the hills. But, I am prepared if Monday is the last time I will watch the hills. It is one thing to forgive someone who wronged you. This is a different case. Since the end of season 2 Heidi and her fug fiance has done nothing but trash LC. From gossip mag this summer where they claimed that Brody did a one night stand on her, she wanted to date spencer first and that they made her or she could not go into clubs without Heidi. Then once the season started they kicked it up a notch: spencer's blog (where he referred to her genitalia in a demeaning/offensive manner), radio station interviews calling her controlling, psycho and "low-life" as well as her cosmo girl interview in which she did nothing but trash LC throughout the whole interview. Plus, in her last US Weekly cover she even claimed that LC was not her "confidante" she was just her roomate. So for Lauren to befriend this girl again says more about LC than Heidi. IMO LC would have some serious mental/dependence issues and may need to see a psychiatrist. Moreover, I would finally start to believe that maybe her relationship with Heidi was not just a friendship on her part. It is absolutely ridiculous that LC would even consider befriending this witch again.

you keep saying "mistakes" as if this happened by accident. there's a big difference between a mistake (like, oops, I borrowed your shirt and spilled something on it) and intentionally trying to hurt someone- for example, trashing them in public. friends do not do that. if yours do, I hate to tell you this, but they're not real friends.

i don't think you can make generalizations about hills fans because we're all so different. In my own little group of friends we have 4 who never liked Heidi, 1 who always liked her and still does, and 1 who started out liking her and is on the fence now.
We all grew up together, went to the same University, yet all have different views. Imagine that? ;)
