Friday, April 25, 2008 || Spencer: "100% Fact" Lauren Conrad Sex Tape Existed
Spencer Pratt has refueled the long-standing feud between him and Lauren Conrad.
On Tuesday's episode of The Tyra Banks Show, he says that he is "100%" sure there was a rumored sex tape starring Conrad.
"I know for 100% fact it did exist – 1000%!" he declares.
Banks asks if Pratt had actually seen it.
"I would never watch that!" Pratt says. "I would rather throw up... but I know for a fact, and I would take a lie detector test."
Heidi Montag — who appeared alongside Pratt on the show — also claims the tape was "not a rumor. From what I have heard from confirmed sources... her ex-boyfriend was going around trying to sell it."
Banks then asks Montag, if she hadn't seen the tape, how could she be so sure it existed.
"Well, I mean, I am not sure she has it anymore... but from what I've heard..."
Montag adds, "I am not really allowed to elaborate."
In April 2007, Conrad told Usmagazine.com, "There is no sex tape that exists."
Conrad and Montag's friendship fizzled after she accused her of spreading rumors about the raunchy tape.

if the tape existed it would have been out over a year ago, when the rumer first started. spencer and heidi are truly scum, and in bringing it up again and insisting on its existence just supports my belief that they were the ones who started the rumors to begin with.

I definitely believe the tape existed. People usually don't get that mad about "rumors." They get upset when a secret they wanted to keep hid gets out. I love Lauren and am definitely not a member of Team Heidi, but Lauren's grudge and how personally she took it makes me think that the tape existed and that she had to go to extraoidinary lengths to keep it from coming out.
^If Paris Hilton couldn't keep her sex tape from coming out, then Lauren definitely hasn't a chance. The two whose story you're going by have never even seen the tape they claim exists, they heard it from a "reliable source". Yeah, not so reliable when they can't deliver the goods, are they?
As for Lauren's grudge, I'm suprised she hasn't cut Heidi yet. And as far as I'm aware, the last time she spoke about the sex-tape was probably last June or July. I had even forgotten about the whole thing.

I think Lauren confided in her best friend Heidi at the time and Heidi told Spencer who then decided to try to embarrass Lauren publicly about it.
That is why I think she feels so betrayed by Heidi and Spencer who in my mind are both scum.

I don't think the tape existed. I think lauren got so upset because that rumor was everywhere..all her family, friends, and fans saw it. How embarrassing would that be? They're trying to ruin Laurens reputation. They crave attention and it's always at Lauren's expense. Lauren doesn't want to be friends with her anymore, but atleast she's moved on. They talk about her ALL the time. It's so annoying.

I heard a rumor, way back then, that there was a tape, but there wasn't actual sex on it- just some making out or whatever. of course, since neither heidi or spencer has seen it, they wouldn't have any idea what was on it.
let's face it, if there were an actual sex tape, and jason had been "shopping it around", someone would've paid money for that. there's no way it would've stayed under wraps.

And spencer needs to shut up, its been a year since the rumors first surfaced, so maybe its time to talk about something else. Well, when i come to think about it i really dont think he has anything else to talk about.
I don't think the tape existed either but it's different than with Paris's. I mean, I don't remember how famous or important Lauren was when the rumors were out. Paris Hilton didn't have a chance to stop her tape to come out, but maybe since Lauren wasn't that famous she could've intercepted it....or stopped Jason... just "what could've been" I really think there was even no tape in the first place.

the only way spencer gets any attention is by talking about someone else. he keeps bringing up old rumors to keep himself in the media. he needs to grow up and get a real life, instead of the superficial life that he's living.
I think Paris and Kim K. wanted their tapes to come out. That Rick guy and Ray J seem to be more shady than Jason. Rick and Ray J probably had more contacts, as well. I think Lauren is far classier than Paris or Kim K. (who seem to do anything for publicity at times) and would have been willing to go the extra lengths and get the best lawyers to keep the tape hid away. Or maybe she's classier in a way that, her sex tape wasn't as "exciting" as the ones by Paris and Kim Kardashian. Again, I love Lauren and watching The Hills, this is JMO and I think Heidi and Spencer both push around a lot of lies; but there is some truth here.

The Tyra Banks show isn't exactly the most credible talk show. Her shows are pretty pathetic actually. It's no suprise she would have them on and bring up this subject. That was probably all her.

I bet there was a tape but it probably has been destroyed. I'm with those who think that Lauren confided in Heidi and then Heidi told Spencer. Lauren seemed pretty quick to point the fingers at them and I think it's because Heidi was probably one of few (maybe 2?) people who knew about it. While I could definitely believe that Jason is the type to shop it around (I could see him leaking one out with some random ho), I think he does have genuine feelings for Lauren and didn't want to ruin her reputation.
But even if there was a tape, it doesn't make it any better or different IMO. If it's true, it really doesn't change my opinion of her - I'm sure they just thought it would be fun.

Well back when the rumor was circulating ... it came out that there was nothing to great on the tape.. like laughing , kissing , taking off clothes and shit , i think a few boob and penis shots nothing sexy.. so vivid decided to not purchase it ( vivid is the porn company that buys celeb sex tapes and sells them to the public) The main guy even had a statement that it does indeed exist but is merely mush and not at hyped up as it seems to be.. perez had his statement on his site and e! spoke to the man too . I think Jason had something to do with it leeking.. I bet heidi did know about it and started to circulate the rumor to spencer ... and what you people don't know is lauren and heidi are civil behind these " celebrity " personalities that they hate eachother.. there not friends but, they made ammends..(i know for a fact; ) meaning I'm in the inner circle with them ) I'm sure lauren knows spencer is doing this for camera time.. it sucks what mtv and the public will do to these people just to keep them in the spotlight .. i mean who really cares about a video of her messing around with a boyfriend? someone put rumors out there about me about some female funning my name in the grown saying i did somethings with people. i confronted everyone that was involved because they know who i am and how i am and i couldnt believe she would start something like that. needless to say i dont talk to that girl anymore....and everything she said was a lie i wasnt so upset because it was truth i just couldnt beleive a "friend" would say that about me to make herself look better, or for whatever reason she did it.
