Friday, May 02, 2008 || Heidi: "I Tried to Help" Lauren Get the Tape Back
Heidi Montag says she isn't to blame for the Lauren Conrad sex tape drama.
"I tried to help her get it back for, like, a year," Montag said on the Late Show With David Letterman Wednesday. "I was like, 'You gotta get it back, you gotta do something about this.'"
When Conrad's ex Jason Wahler threatened to release it, Montag claimed, "she was like, 'I don't know what to do...' I was like, 'Well, let's get it back.'
"Next thing I know," Montag continued, "it's blamed on me. All of a sudden, I made up the sex tape... I didn't film it, I didn't do it, I'm not trying to sell it. How did it come down on me?"
Asked when the tape would come out, she told Letterman, "I don't know. I'm wondering that myself."
After accusing her of spreading the rumors, Montag said she doesn't think the two could ever be friends again. "Blaming a sex tape on me, making a whole season on it..." she said. "I'm not so sure."
Montag and Pratt refueled the sex tape rumors rumors Tuesday during an appearance on The Tyra Banks Show, where he declared footage exists "for 100 percent fact."
Wahler shot back Wednesday on Usmagazine.com, saying Pratt "is lying ... I do not have a sex tape of Lauren Conrad and one does not exist."
Pratt fired back: "Jason's statement couldn't be more transparent. Notice how he uses present tense, 'I DO not have a sex tape... one DOES not exist.'"

and me again... why does she keep sying the same thing over and over and over again on every damn interview... did she write a script... like i i was narrating i would be like last week, blah, blah abd how lauren wanted spencer to meet her dad... why she bringing the girl dad into this... gosh man... get over it and get a damn life... fake bombshell
because she is telling lies thats why she keep saying the same thing over and over again.
i feel like spencer has her computarized!! same old BS.. when is the subject going to die .. everytime they notice noone is paying attention to them they bring it up.. LAMEEEEEEEEE
So the rumor has been out for a year now and all of a sudden Heidi is saying she helped Lauren get the tape back. What? Where did that come from? Next year she will be telling people she beat up Jason for the tape and got it back for Lauren. Get over it Heidi, nobody cares but you and your pathetic wannabe "boyfriend"
actually.. here she said she helped lauren try to get the tape back and knew about it for a year.. but when she was on the tyra banks show she said she didnt hear anything about the sex tape at all until after everything happened because she was in surgery!!!!!!!!
^no, she meant she didn't hear that it actually almost came out that week, or the knowledge of it came out to the public. she and lauren knew about it's existence and wanted it destroyed, and did NOT want the media to hear about it (or so she says, but it could have been a publicity stunt) then when heidi was in the hospital, somehow the media got wind of it, and that was what she was referring to on tyra...she didn't know that the knowledge of the tape's existance had been leaked to the media until she was out of the hospital or whatever.
geez, use ur head a little.
