Wednesday, April 30, 2008 || Spencer: Jason's Sex Tape Denial Is "Transparent"
The sex tape talk just won't end.
Spencer Pratt is sticking to his story that a Lauren Conrad-Jason Wahler sex tape existed.
Wahler told Usmagazine.com Wednesday morning: "I do not have a sex tape of Lauren Conrad and one does not exist. Spencer Pratt is lying again to get attention."
But Pratt countered to Us Wednesday afternoon: "Jason's statement couldn't be more transparent. Notice how he uses present tense, 'I DO not have a sex tape... one DOES not exist.'"
"We all know that it existed, that he tried to sell it and is now covering up to make himself look better," Pratt added.
On Tuesday's Tyra Banks Show, Pratt declared, "I know for 100 percent fact it did exist – 1000%!"
Pratt's girlfriend Heidi Montag also said the tape was "not a rumor" and said Conrad's "ex-boyfriend was going around trying to sell it."

I think this pretty much confirms that Heidi and Spencer started those rumors. They just won't stop talking about it.

its so funny how they keep insisting and yet when asked if they have seen it all they can muster up up is that they heard through a fact there was one. and we should jsut take their word for it???
what is the big deal anyway even if there was one it makes them look pretty pathtic for even bringing it up.
I honestly hope Jason just does one more stunt and kicks the shit out of Spencer. Spencer would go down in one punch and I think the nation would cheer.
Pathetic. Can't they find anything else to talk about? It's just proves how lame they are. Lauren is the only thing that can keep them in the spotlight.
I'm inclined to believe that there might actually have been a sex tape.
^^why because spencer keeps on insisting on it. i guess spencer has succeeded in ruining lauren's reputation and planting a seed of doubt in people's minds about the existence of a sex tape all the while he hasn't ever seen the sex tape and can't elaborate on it. Not to mention the rumor is over a year old. You would think that if it did exist it would be out already. All the while, both Lauren and Jason have denied its existence from the begining.
No spencer you wish. This is from lauren's website a year ago in which she clearly states she never made a sex tape. so if a sex tape did not exist then and it does not exist now, then it never existed.

here are some outrageous comments from spencer and heidi in the past year alone. who are you inclined to believe lauren, or speidi?

I do have to say that their statements are always worded really weird. "I would like to make it clear that we did not make a tape with us having sex." "A sex tape does not exist" Wasn't it supposedly too vanilla or not really sex? Like maybe oral sex or something?
I honestly don't care one way or another, but if I had to guess I do think there is some sort of tape. But whatever, I don't think any less of her. The only reason I would is if she wanted it out for more fame, but obviously she's not into that.
I don't know how much more clearer Lauren and Jason can be about the non-existence of the tape. Besides, "a sex tape does not exist" and we did not make a tape with us having sex" what else should they be saying? I think people are trying to read too much into thse statements.
Lauren should hire a really good lawyer and sue the crap out of Spencer and Heidi for SLANDER. Take them for all they've got Lauren! I'm pretty sure it isn't much though!!!
yeah, I think that some sort of tape does exist. It's probably just very bland (making out, oral, maybe a little nudity, something like that).
did anyone see jason on e! news and the daily ten. he once again refuted the existence of a sex tape, and said that he too was willing to take a lie dector test. He also reiterated that he never liked Heidi to begin with and Speidi are just saying these things for attention. Now if in fact we are to believe Speidi's story, why would Jason, the same ex-bf pendling the tape, speak out publicly not once , twice, or three times, but several times over the course of a year about the non-existence of the tape? why would jason do that? if a sex tape did exist he would have more to gain both financially and notirierty if he corroborated with speidi.
umm, not that I'm insinuating there is or isn't a tape, but what kind of logic is that? The fact that he spoke out numerous times of there not being a tape? Well, using that mentality, OJ obviously didn't do anything, yknow, since he kept saying he didn't.
since you're confused, let me try and clarify: if jason was pedling the tape like speidi claims then why would he continue to speak out numerous times about the non-existence of a tape. it doesn't make any sense, especially if he is trying to make money- he has more to earn by the selling the tape and going public. Not to mention it would be good publicity for him and his new reality show. But the fact he has consistently said there was never a tape while speidi story changes with every interview, leads me to beleive him and to believe that spedi started the rumor to destroy lauren's reputation.
it's a little naive to think about it in such a black and white context. There are also a million reasons why he would potentially change his mind about this whole thing. In situations like these, the most common reason would be the threat of being slapped with a lawsuit.
