LC got the s**t scared out of her last night when a random drunk guy jumped in her face and started screaming "F**k you!" Dude also dropped the N-bomb.
The MTV star, who looked genuinely horrified, ran to the closest taxi where she dropped her head into her hands and tried to get a grip. "The Hills" are a scary place sometimes.
I just f**kin love how a lot of WHITE people think that NI**A pertains to a person of color. Once again let me school those of you who don’t know. "NI**A" isn’t a racist comment Ni**a can mean friend, girl, bro, dude, homie, ect... "NI**ER" on the other hand is a racist comment cause that’s what Caucasians called people of color back in the day. So was he wrong for doing what he did? "YES!" Was it racist? "No not at all." Hopefully thousand of people from all races will read this and learn that NI**A does not just pertain to a person of color but to people of all races. I only write this because I’m tired of getting asked why I called someone of another race a ni**a and they’re not "black". P.S. I am a proud African American! Say it loud “I’m black and I’m proud!”

i understand what you're saying 2:28 and in this situation i will leave it alone about the guy being a racist, however someone can take N**A and make it a racist comment, "terms" aside.
Me neither^. The guy seem to say it to that other guy because maybe he was wearing a bandana. I just think it was out of line. It's like a black person saying 'cr*cker'. It's the same thing. The only difference is there was not black people there, which leads to me believe what I specualted above. (people, particulary racist white ppl usually associate a bandana wearing person to be a black wannabe.-I've seen this all before).
2:28, unfortunately, you are probably one of the more easygoing people when it comes to those words.
When it comes to racial terms, the reality is, not everyone views it it such a straightforward manner. It's really all semantics.
There are many black people that would be offended by overhearing someone who's not black say the word "ni**a".
There are many black people that would be offended being referred to as black instead of African American.
I have a friend who was born in Africa but has lived in the US all her life. She gets offended when people refer to her as African American instead of African.
Unfortunately, everyone has their own interpretations when it comes to racial slang. As such, there's always going to be someone offended by something even if it was unintentional.
It would be an easier world if everyone shared the same straightforward interpretation as you do. Kudos to you for being more openminded about it than most.

The guy was screaming at the guy lc was with not lauren but it was scary. Poor lauren.
