Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt refuse to let this season of The Hills be their swan song. (We're readying ourselves for a lifelong headache of supercheesy staged photo ops.) But what about the original SoCal reality babe, Laguna Beach's Kristin Cavallari? Is she planning a return to the boob tube now that reality-TV queen Laur's on her way out?

Seriously, tho, why hate on where ya came from? Reality TV's the best way a nonactress can make a buck nowadays. Hey, they're always looking for a new Bachelorette! You're used to dating tons of dudes in the public eye—could any of 'em be worse than Brody Jenner?

how is that shocking at all?? she's said for a few years now that she doesn't want to go back to reality tv.
though, considering how irrelevant she now is, maybe she should reconsider that decision.
I agree, She should be begging MTV for a reality show. She definitely can't act and people liked her on Laguna Beach because of her personality and how she interacted with other people. She's beautiful but definitely not an actress.
I don't think she's been acting long enough for us to really judge her. What have you seen her in, maybe 1 straight to dvd film? Give her a chance to hone her craft.
It would be easier to recount the movies that she has made in the last 4 years that went to the theatres and sorry but there were none. All have gone straight to DVD.She has had several bit parts on TV series such as "Cain" and she sucked on all of them.
She has had 4 years to "hone" her craft and it shouldn't take that long. YOu have it or you don't and she definitely "don't". Sorry. You need to be real about it.

She is only recognized because of Laguna Beach. It isthe only thing she is known for. She shouldn't turn her nose up at reality TV as I think it is going to be her only venue. JMO
I don't think her acting is going anywhere. You hate to tell someone not to follow their dreams, but I think maybe she should give it up. I've only seen her in bit parts like Cane and trailers, but she hasn't looked very good IMO.
I disagree though that she shouldn't turn her nose at reality tv. The simple truth is that reality tv is for famewhores - even though Lauren's done it for so long, I think even she's been conflicted about it. Not to say Kristin is not a famewhore, but anyone not wanting to do reality tv is okay by me. I'm not anyone really special, but I'm sure as hell above it.

she is a pretty girl but, there are lots of pretty girls out there. if she wants to keep acting and she sucks at it whatev. it's her life. let her be. if she wants to continue to suck then she can. as long as she is getting paid and doing what she wants who the fuck cares.
I actually know a friend who knows someone that works for MTV and worked on Laguna Beach as part of the crew, and that person said that kristin was going to do her own spinoff show like Lauren, and it would be centered around her college life at USC (one of the schools she got into) and about her getting into a sorority, but then she decided against it and thought she could do acting.
Honestly, she probably should have done that reality sorority show cuz it could have been good!

Yes she did get into USC. She attended for a short while and left before the first term was up.
I agree with the poster that you should never tell someone not to follow their dreams but I'm afraid this acting dream is turning into a nightmare.

She did not attend USC because she wasnt accepted. She went to pepperdine University (the same school with Casey) but dropped out before the first semester. To pursue whoring herself out for the paps.
She only got ACCEPTED to USC; please people, READ CAREFULLY. I assume you're above 5 years old, right 8:13 AM? I never wrote she WENT THERE. OKAAAY? She actually went to Loyola Marymount, 6:37 PM, but you're right that she only attended school for one semester.

Although I'm not sure why that means that I need more of a life than anyone else who posts on this site. It's about the Hills, etc - there's nothing here that's not brainless, shallow, trivial matter so I don't think anyone needs to get on their high horse.
